Early 20s / Combination dehydrated skin, prone to blemishes Spring Warm Light / Estimated shade 19, fair skin I was mesmerized by the swatches on Facebook and bought it impulsively. This is my very first MAC tint! I've always wanted to try MAC lip products, but never found a color I liked until now. Purchased this in April 2020 when it was newly released! At the time, I didn't realize it was limited edition. Only recently did I discover it was a special release. It was available on KakaoTalk gift shop until recently, but now it seems quite difficult to purchase. I'm so disappointed it's limited edition because it's truly my holy grail lip product! It's a coral shade with a subtle white undertone - not too pink, not too orange, just a perfect coral hue. With its semi-matte formula that isn't overly drying, I could wear it comfortably even in the dry winter months without emphasizing dead skin cells. It was a bit tricky to control the amount, which sometimes led to clumping. However, the beautiful color made up for this minor drawback. When used alone, it gives a vibrant pop of color that lights up your face. (Based on Personal Color Spring Warm Light) I often paired MAC Crossfades with Benefit's Cha Cha Tint for a lovely combination. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 26, 2020
I really love the case design! The matte texture gives it such a luxurious feel. Just looking at it puts me in a good mood. It's perfect as a base lip color. First off, the applicator... It's round, but the product comes out clumpy, making it really difficult to apply. The tint feels powdery when applied, and it doesn't seem to adhere to the lips at all. It severely emphasizes dead skin cells and lip lines. Sadly, when I put it on my lips, it doesn't have any coral or orange tones as expected, but turns pink instead, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 19, 2020
MAC truly is the master of color cosmetics! I have a deep undertone and light skin, and apricot shades suit me better than pink. Since this was a limited edition color, I bought it without hesitation, and it was such a great choice! I love that it's apricot-tinted without any pink staining. It has a warmer feel to it! When I say warm, I don't mean a dull yellowish tint, but a truly milky apricot shade. In the photo, the bottom color is MAC. On the top left is Peripera's 'Man-jjit Coral' for comparison. While they look similar, MAC's is clearer and the staining has more of an orange tone. When applied to the lips, it appears even milkier and brighter. Please make this color permanent! Since they made the Powder Kiss lipstick into a liquid form, it's definitely harder to apply. It tends to clump up, and I'm not a fan of the applicator tip shape. Still, you can get used to it and apply it easily. The color more than makes up for these minor drawbacks! If you use a concealer to define your lip line and then create a gradient starting from the inside, you'll look incredibly pure and innocent! For those with deep undertones who think dark lip colors don't suit them, have fair skin, or want to look more innocent - grab this before it's gone!
