It's effective at removing blackheads and whiteheads. There's no stinging sensation when using it. While it doesn't sting during use, my nose tends to get a bit red after I'm done. - mo*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2022
As someone with super oily skin, I was struggling, but this product is a game-changer! It softens blackheads much better than what we use at our skincare clinic. It's a gel patch type with cuts around the nose wings, so it adheres really well. I picked this up because my friend wasn't using it, but I'm not sure I'd buy it with my own money. I wish they'd sell Step 1 separately since I don't really need Step 2 (the hydrating mask). Personally, I found using a water peeling device more effective at removing blackheads than cotton swabs. While you're softening and peeling your nose, try putting the leftover product on your chin - it works wonders there too! - en****Dry SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2021
It's great for managing sebum without irritation, as it doesn't forcefully extract pores. This means less skin damage and a gentler approach to oil control. I left the second step (soothing mask) on a bit too long, and the areas where I applied it turned bright red. My skin wasn't red before, even after sebum removal. It feels slightly itchy, so I'm trying to calm it with aloe. It might be better to use it for a shorter time or find an alternative soothing method. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 2, 2021
It's quite effective at extracting sebum. I like that it comes with a black cotton swab, which is handy. Since it's not a peel-off type but rather a dissolving method, it feels like it's less likely to stretch out my pores. First off, it's pricier than regular nose packs. It's not very well-known, so it's hard to resell secondhand. The biggest drawback is that those with seborrheic dermatitis should absolutely avoid this - it can cause your skin to flare up badly. - lo*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 19, 2021
I usually managed my sebum with Cristian Balmain emulsion to soften it, then pushed it out with a water peeling device, but it was quite irritating. Many blackheads would just peek out, so I had to push really hard to remove them. I stumbled upon this product on Coupang and bought it due to the good reviews. It has a process of softening the sebum, extracting it with a cotton swab extractor, and then closing the pores with a mask. The best part? No irritation! The cotton swab extractor is truly a game-changer. While it's gentler than metal tools, it effectively removes sebum without irritation. After extracting the visible parts, I wet the cotton swab end and gently roll it over my nose. The melted sebum comes right off. I immediately repurchased - I get anxious if I don't have it on hand! The price is high, and Coupang's prices fluctuate so often, I felt like I was watching the stock market! I waited days to buy it at the initial price I saw. After enlarging my pores with old peel-off nose packs, I used Cristian Balmain exclusively for a long time. While it felt refreshing as the sebum came out, I often got carried away, resulting in frequent burning sensations on my skin. This product seems really good in comparison! I think around $1.50 per piece would be a more reasonable price. Use this after showering when your pores are sufficiently open. I apply a water-based mask to the rest of my face while using this nose pack to prevent moisture loss! This product might be too gentle for those struggling with severe acne and sebum. However, I think it's perfect for people like me who used to have acne-prone skin but have transitioned to dry skin with age, yet still deal with blackheads in enlarged pores. It's great for gentle, non-irritating use! For those with excessive sebum issues, I recommend Cristian Balmain.
