  The spreadability is excellent. There is no white cast at all. I've been using a dermatologist sunscreen and BB cream combination, but at some point the dermatologist sunscreen became a bit thick, so the BB cream didn't seem to spread as smoothly. I don't want to use a makeup base either, so I tried switching it up at the dermatologist, and it's great! Even when I apply the BB cream on top, it glides on smoothly.
