Those with sensitive skin should be cautious. The ingredients don't look good.
ConsIt caused a red, allergy-like reaction and was itchy. I don't usually wear much makeup and rarely get blemishes, but this product gave me a hard time.

Recommended by dermatologists.
ConsInitially, it was fine, but now after using it, my skin turns red and itchy. It's getting worse lately... My skin feels really dry, so a moisturizing emulsion is a must. Also, it doesn't lather well and tends to drip. While I'm rubbing it between my hands and washing my face, I suddenly realize the product has run down to my elbows...

It's not my main cleanser, but I use it about twice a month for exfoliation. It was pretty good. Later, when I started getting dermatological treatments, my skin became super sensitive. Even ultrasonic exfoliation was too irritating, so the clinic used an enzyme cleanser for gentle exfoliation instead. I wondered what product they were using - turns out it was this one! I've had it used on me several times at the clinic with no issues! I used this consistently for about two years. I loved that you could apply it, leave it on for a bit, then wash it off. I used it because it was good for exfoliating too.
ConsStrangely, a few months ago, whenever I used this, my face would get itchy and my cheeks would swell up and turn red like an allergic reaction. I thought it couldn't be, so I tried using it again without leaving it on for long, just washing it off right away, and it seemed fine. But today, I used it again and it's a disaster! I had to quickly take some allergy medication I had on hand. The allergy meds helped calm it down before too. I think this product is definitely the culprit now, though I wasn't sure before. It seems leaving it on for too long might be irritating. I don't know why it suddenly started causing problems when it was fine before. I'm sad to lose my holy grail product. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this?
TipThe dermatologist told me to apply it and leave it on while brushing my teeth, then rinse... I used it so well like that, but suddenly my forehead, jawline, and cheeks went crazy. Super sensitive skin folks, be careful! Here's a bonus tip: I didn't want to waste it, so I used it for exfoliation on my upper arms and calves where I get those little bumps like keratosis pilaris. The effect is amazing! My skin became super smooth in just about a week.
