The application is smooth and has a nice, rich texture. It's great in many ways. It's incredibly versatile and useful for lips, chapped areas, face, feet, and more. It's become an essential item I can't do without.

I loved how quickly it healed wounds when applied frequently to the affected areas.

For wounds, it's best to apply it like a regular ointment and then cover with a bandage.
For deep or large wounds, use a bandage until new skin forms. Once the skin has regrown or a scab has formed, you can apply the ointment without a bandage.

It's a safe oil-based ointment that can be used even on infants and young children.
It's great for diaper rash or bruises on kids!
Some people even use it as a cuticle oil for their nails.

It does sting a bit when you first apply it to a wound. But after a few seconds, the pain subsides and the healing process begins rapidly.

My nieces and nephews now know about those few seconds of stinging and handle it well.
I can't think of any downsides to this product.

The Correct-X ointment is one of my favorite doTERRA products. I make sure my elementary school-aged nieces and nephews each have one in their bags. They even have name tags on them now! Whenever they get hurt while playing, the first thing we do is apply Correct-X. It's such a versatile ointment with many uses.

It works wonders for wound healing, wrinkle improvement (like an eye cream), as an essence for rough skin, and even as a lip balm. There's hardly anywhere you can't use it.

The small container makes it perfect to carry in your bag. A little goes a long way too - you can cover a large area with just a small amount.

When my older niece got a pretty bad injury, Correct-X alone helped her heal without leaving any scars.

Now, both her knees and elbows are completely clear, with no trace of the injury.

4. It soothes the itchiness of scabbed areas, so applying it before sleep frees me from the urge to scratch. Being a steroid-free ointment, I can apply it without hesitation when itchy, which is great.

There weren't any downsides. Just be careful not to apply it to open wounds.
