Pros
Great to use except during hot weather. It's sufficiently hydrating and absorbs well. It also helps to gently exfoliate dead skin cells and improve skin texture.
Cons
The container is quite heavy. It's on the pricier side. The texture isn't completely watery, but has a slight sticky feel.

My husband is really enjoying using this. It's more hydrating than a toner, which he loves.

9/10 - Perfect for seasonal transitions! Though it's called an essence, I used it like a toner/skin. It has a nice viscosity. ✔️ Recommended for normal and combination skin during seasonal changes I think even oily skin types could use it (depending on what products follow) ✔️ Hydrating without feeling heavy ✔️ While I'm not sure about its boosting effects, it works great in synergy with moisturizers applied after

There's not much to complain about... Well, I wish they'd offer bigger discounts. It's quite pricey..

✔️ If you feel your current essence lacks hydration, try switching your toner to this one ✔️ If your home environment isn't too humid or hot, and your skin doesn't feel tight 5-6 hours after applying just this product, you likely have normal skin

Pros
Affordable and hydrating! I've been using it morning and night for a week now. Even when I exercise outdoors in winter and face the cold wind, I feel like my skin stays hydrated all day. I'm using it as the first essence step instead of Pitera, and it maintains a good oil and moisture balance. It absorbs well, and even when I apply makeup on top, it doesn't cause pilling or make the moisture barrier evaporate. I'm not sure about the whitening or anti-aging effects yet, but my skin texture and hydration seem better than when I wasn't using it. It's great for gentle skincare at an affordable price, and seems good for winter hydration. I'll need to use it longer to see if it improves skin elasticity. The scent isn't overwhelming either.
Cons
While it's gentle, which is good, it seems like it needs more potent vitamin ingredients for an immediate firming effect.
Tip
Apply immediately after cleansing.

Pros
- It's not a runny consistency at all, but rather a slightly concentrated water-type essence formula - It's fragrance-free - Didn't cause any blemishes - It's very hydrating I'm using it as a toner, but since it's called an essence, it's much more hydrating than typical toners. Usually, water-based toners can actually make my face feel dry, but this one doesn't have that effect.
Cons
- Insufficient moisturizing power While it's more hydrating compared to other toners, the product itself isn't particularly moisturizing. It is an essence after all. Compared to typical essences, it's not hydrating at all. It's in an awkward position - too expensive to use liberally as a toner, but not effective enough to use as an essence. - It irritates my eyes I was using it since I had already bought it, but whenever I use this product alone, my eyes feel irritated. At first, I thought it was just fatigue, but when I don't use it, my eyes don't sting. It's definitely because of this product.
Tip
I recommend it as an alternative if you're looking for a hydrating toner.

Highly recommended for dry skin! This is my go-to savior whenever my skin feels rough and parched. While those with oily skin might find it a bit rich, it's perfect for dry skin - moisturizing without being too heavy. It helps dead skin cells adhere smoothly and replenishes hydration, resulting in a brighter complexion. The watery texture absorbs quickly while providing ample moisture. Depending on the season, you can use it alone or layer with an emulsion or cream - it's truly a year-round staple. When my body feels dry, I mix it with a body emulsion, and my skin improves dramatically!
Cons
The glass bottle is quite heavy, unfortunately. It would be great if they could release a smaller size version.

Pros
I bought this essence because I was satisfied with the Fig Scrub. When the weather was hot, I felt it was too moisturizing to use alone, but now that there's a cool breeze, it's just perfect. My mom, who has drier skin than me, uses this product as a toner and loves it so much that I bought another bottle. It has a gentle feel, hydrates well, absorbs cleanly, and above all, it's great for improving skin texture. I'm not sure about acne reduction, but I haven't noticed it causing any blemishes.
Cons
Everything's good, but I wish it came in a pump bottle... A recyclable pump bottle would be ideal.
Tip
It absorbs quickly and the hydration lasts long, making it great for body use too. When you're too lazy to apply cream, try splashing this on instead.

Pros
I've lost count of how many bottles I've gone through - that's how well this product works for me. It's perfect for my dry skin, providing just the right amount of hydration.
Cons
I tend to be quite generous when applying skincare products, which means I go through this one pretty quickly. While I'm completely satisfied with everything else, the price point isn't exactly budget-friendly, which is the only downside.
