It absorbs smoothly and well into the skin. Doesn't leave an overly rich feeling on the face. The hydration is weak, causing my face to feel tight and leading to blemishes. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinApr 8, 2025
It does a great job as a hydrating cream, and I love how long-lasting it is It causes a lot of blemishes to appear, and it's way too oily for my skin - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 21, 2023
There are no positives. I bought this product after seeing YouTube videos and various advertisements, thinking it would suit my current skin condition. However, it actually worsened my cystic acne and closed comedones. I used it for a month. Throughout the usage, I constantly felt a slight tingling and dryness, but I persevered because the video I referenced said the tingling sensation would subside with adaptation and to reapply multiple times if it felt dry. However, after about two weeks of use, acne and closed comedones kept appearing. At the time, I thought it was due to the hot and humid weather, so I continued using it, but the burning sensation and tingling persisted even during normal times. Just in case, I stopped using it for about 3 days, and my skin condition improved significantly in that short time. I'm now seeing a dermatologist. It's quite expensive for the amount you get, and it's a shame that about 2 tubes of cream have gone to waste since I can't use them anymore. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2023
I bought the oily skin version for summer. The tube packaging was convenient to use. I wonder if it's because of the niacinamide... Every time I apply it, I wake up the next day with tiny blemishes all over (The Ordinary's niacinamide products didn't suit me either). I didn't have any issues with the 3.1.1 cream or 1.3.1 cream. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 19, 2023
•Skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin with blackheads and pustular acne. •Texture: The texture appears thick when squeezed, but it melts smoothly when applied! •Absorption: When I applied this product, it felt like it sat on top of my skin rather than being absorbed. •Effectiveness: Unfortunately, when I used this product, I didn't see any positive effects. Instead, my skin became more inflamed with blemishes, and my blackheads worsened. The disappointing aspect was definitely the increase in blemishes. While it may vary depending on skin type, for me, it led to excess oil production and a shiny appearance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 4, 2022
It applies smoothly and true to its claim as a cream for oily skin, it doesn't leave any rich residue I have no idea why, but it caused tiny bumps and yellow blemishes to appear. Like clockwork, they showed up the morning after application. At least once I stopped using the product, my skin started to recover - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 27, 2022
When applying, it spreads smoothly without feeling overly rich or thick. While absorption is a bit slow, the texture isn't heavy. Though it's clearly meant for oily skin, there must be an ingredient that doesn't agree with me. It's different for everyone, but as soon as I used it once, I immediately broke out. A huge blemish appeared in my T-zone, and many small blemishes popped up along my forehead, so I had to stop using it. Although I have oily skin, this is the first time I've experienced this kind of reaction, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I occasionally use creams for normal skin, so there must be an oily ingredient in this product that doesn't suit me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2021
I stumbled upon this product when a famous skincare YouTuber was doing a group order, and I decided to give it a try, hoping to finally find my holy grail. As expected from a cream designed for oily skin, it doesn't leave a greasy finish. I love that it doesn't pill when applied before makeup. Now that I'm in my 20s, my skin is going through its worst phase. I haven't seen any noticeable effects on my blemishes, even though I've been using it for almost two weeks. If anything, I'm actually getting a pimple or two... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 19, 2021
As expected for oily skin, it feels lighter than the 311 version. The texture is somewhat like sorbet. I was using 311 well, but since it's summer and it felt too rich, I tried the oily skin version. After two days, tiny red blemishes appeared on my cheeks, chin, and philtrum. Fortunately, when I switched back to 311, my skin recovered. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2020
I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin. Even though I have oily skin, I really enjoyed using Dr. Different 311 for normal to dry skin, so I decided to try the oily skin version too! The texture is lighter than the normal-to-dry version. While the normal-to-dry feels like a rich moisturizer, this one feels more like a hydrating cream. After application, it feels even cooler than the 311 cream. The hydration lasts long, and when I apply it before makeup, my makeup goes on smoothly. Unfortunately, it causes small bumps on my skin. I had gotten rid of these bumps with the 311 cream, but they've reappeared with the 113 cream...
