  Pros

  I love how it doesn't cause any blemishes and feels so refreshing! It's not too drying and actually keeps my skin quite hydrated. I think it'll be perfect for summer use. I definitely want to repurchase this.

  As for downsides... there really weren't any to speak of.

  This cream is less harmful to the body. After using it daily since winning it, I found that the finish was particularly nice on days when I applied it. Scent: I liked that the fragrance wasn't overpowering. It gives a fresh feeling when applied.

  Cons

  I deducted one point because, while it's true there are no drawbacks, I didn't feel it had the calming effect or positive impact on blemishes as advertised.

  Tip

  Layering it on seems to be the best way to maximize its benefits.

  I'll admit I haven't been taking the best care of my skin, but wearing masks has made it rough and caused a lot of blemishes to pop up. It was really stressful seeing those blemishes leave scars, but luckily I won a cica cream from The Hwahae Testers! I've been using it consistently and wanted to share my review. To really see how effective the soothing cream was, I used it exclusively (about half the tube so far)! Application feel ❤ - I thought it would feel greasy, but I was surprised by how refreshing it felt! Results ❤ - My cheeks became super soft, and by the next day, I could see the calming effect. It felt like a light, comfortable layer of hydration was protecting my skin! The best part was seeing my scars start to fade.

  Cons

  The only downside is that the amount of product seems a bit small. Other than that, I can't think of any negatives!

  Tip

  For those with very oily skin, you might still see some oil coming through on your nose area. I'd recommend using it with a centella powder I used to use often - you'll see visible calming effects while keeping your skin matte!

  I'll honestly share the positive aspects of using the Expert Soothing Cica Cream! # Gentleness My skin is super sensitive and extremely dry. Even the slightest mismatch can cause hives and itching. However, this cica cream is so gentle that I experienced no blemishes or redness while using it! It seems like a great cream for those with similar skin types to use gently. # Freshness While other cica creams tend to be thick or sticky due to their functional properties, this product feels fresh upon application with absolutely no stickiness! If I were to compare the texture, it's similar to Dr. Jart's hydrating cream. # Absorption I applied it during my morning and evening skincare routines, and even in between! Let's be honest, wearing masks can cause dryness and cracking around the nose and mouth. I applied it frequently during those times, and even when layering over makeup, it absorbed excellently without causing any pilling or separation. # Soothing Effect These days, the areas around our mouths and noses are struggling due to mask-wearing. My skin would get red and irritated in those areas too. Whenever that happened, I applied this product frequently! It has a nice cooling effect and really soothes the skin. It's perfect for those looking for a soothing cream that's non-sticky and fresh.

  Cons

  # Hydration As it's a cica cream, the hydration level was a bit lacking for my extremely dry skin. While the light texture is a plus, if I only applied this product, my skin would feel tight after a while. Those with very dry skin might need to apply an additional moisturizer! However, those with oily skin will likely be completely satisfied. # Price Everything's great, but... the price per volume is a bit wicked. If it were on sale for 20,000-30,000 won, it would be an absolute steal!

  The tube packaging made it convenient to use. I expected it to be a bit sticky, but surprisingly, it wasn't sticky at all and felt refreshing instead. The hydration was excellent, leaving my skin moisturized. The scent was very subtle, but I personally enjoyed the faint fragrance. It reminded me of a cool forest in midsummer, evoking the image of walking cheerfully in a flowy white dress (not sure where that came from!). My complexion was on the darker side, but it brightened up after using this. Now it matches the color of the inside of my wrist (I'm not the only one with a slight tone difference between the inside and outside of the wrist, right? Anyway, it definitely brightened!). My skin tends to be super sensitive, and I recently had a bad reaction to a mask, but after using this for a few days, my skin recovered. No, it actually improved even more! The amount is more generous than I expected. I use a coin-sized amount morning and night, and I've only used about 40% so far. It seems to last quite long!

I usually avoid rich creams due to my oily skin, but this soothing cream felt incredibly fresh, as if it was 70% water, without any greasiness. Being a concentrated formula, it has a dense texture rather than being slippery. I thought, 'Wow, I've finally found a cream that suits my style!' After about a week of use, I noticed the uneven tone on my cheeks started to even out. Since then, I've been focusing on applying it mainly to my cheeks. If you have oily skin and dislike heavy, rich creams, I think you can try this without hesitation - you won't regret it!

  The best thing was how refreshingly it absorbs! I thought a cica cream would be rich and sticky, but it absorbs quickly while providing hydration. Even with my combination dehydrated skin, I was satisfied using it! The tube shape is like an eye cream, making it convenient to apply. With the small opening, there's less chance of contamination. I liked that I could easily apply it to specific areas, just like using an eye cream. I felt a soothing effect too. Not sure if it was due to masks or something else, but I had a lot of small blemishes for a week. After applying this cica cream, my skin gradually returned to its original state and the small blemishes are disappearing! The texture feels lighter than a cream, somewhat like a rich aloe gel. I think oily or combination dehydrated skin types can use it comfortably without any burden.

  This is both a downside and a positive point! I mentioned earlier that the small opening reduces the chance of bacteria entering, allowing for hygienic use. However, because the opening is small, it's hard to get the cream out. It barely comes out with a gentle squeeze - you need to press firmly to get it out well!

  I was lucky enough to win this in an event and got to try it out. As someone with super sensitive skin, I've tried pretty much every 'cica' product out there. This one feels more refreshing, if I had to describe it. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all, but rather light and pleasant. I'm using it both morning and night. I'm definitely going to stock up on this product for future use.
