I found this product convenient to use as it helps manage blackheads by softening and removing them. When you apply the thin, perforated nose-shaped sheet, it feels slightly warm, which seems to cool down your skin temperature. After 10-15 minutes, you can remove it and gently roll a cotton swab over the softened sebum. This effectively clears away dead skin cells and sebum from your nose, leaving it smooth. As the essence on the sheet dries out and evaporates, you need to make an effort to re-moisten it with the remaining product. I felt that the effectiveness decreased with continued use, so I thought of it more as a maintenance product rather than a highly effective treatment. The generous amount of essence made it easy to re-moisten the sheet if it dried out during use, which was great. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 23, 2021
It smooths out the skin on my nose. The feeling is similar to after using an emulsion, so I'm not sure if it's actually clearing blackheads. In any case, the skin on the tip of my nose definitely feels smoother. It seems to leave the blackheads as they are. It only dissolves the exposed blackheads to some extent, but doesn't absorb deep enough into the pores to dissolve them completely. Since I've already bought it, I'll try to experiment with different application methods to make the most of it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2021
It really helps soften sebum, which makes the process easier. Be sure to try it using the tips I'm sharing! I only use this mask for my nose once a week! It's a bit pricey? Other than that, I can't think of any downsides. Since I physically remove sebum after using this mask, I always follow up with a toner mask to soothe my skin and reduce irritation. 1. After cleansing with oil or milk cleanser, follow up with foam or exfoliating toner for a second cleanse. 2. Lightly moisturize everywhere except the nose, then open the nose pack. Apply the pack's serum to your nose first, then re-wet the pack and apply it. 3. After about 10 minutes, when the nose sheet feels less moist, pour the remaining liquid onto the sheet to re-hydrate it. 4. Wait another 10 minutes, then gently roll and remove the sheet. 5. In this state, use a U-shaped extractor or cotton swab to physically remove the visible white sebum. 6. Rinse your entire face with lukewarm water. 7. Apply a toner pack to your nose to tighten pores and soothe the skin. 8. Complete your skincare routine for the entire face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 13, 2021
Well, in my case, no matter how many masks I apply, sebum doesn't dissolve into the mask or come out on its own. However, it's perfect for using before extracting blackheads as it really helps bring the sebum to the surface. The effects are somewhat subtle... It seems to work differently for everyone. A friend I gave it to also said she didn't see any significant results. It's crucial to open your pores with steam before using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2020
I've been using this nose pack about once a month for over 5 years now! It's gentle on the skin and does an amazing job at removing sebum - I'm so satisfied with it. To be honest, I can't think of any downsides. It's non-irritating, has a pleasant scent, and effectively dissolves sebum. - 94*******Combination SkinNov 17, 2020
I usually have some blackheads on my nose, and they become more noticeable and frequent when my skin is dry. First off, I loved that this nose pack was non-irritating, and it's great that I can use it any time, morning or evening. It's a big plus that I don't have to worry about enlarged pores - that's a win-win! The scent is pleasant, and I really enjoyed the cooling effect. I was excited to use this product because it contains tea tree, which I expected would not only help with sebum control but also provide a soothing effect. However, I didn't see much of an effect... There was no change at all, unfortunately. While it was less irritating than peel-off nose packs, it was actually less effective in comparison. - vi********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
The cooling effect was great, and there's plenty of essence in it. I'm not sure if the sebum-dissolving function is all that good. The sebum didn't really dissolve and disappear, it just seemed to remain swollen. It didn't irritate my skin, so when I left it on for an hour, I saw better results than when I used it for 40 minutes. Here's my personal method that worked well: 1. Use a steam towel for 5-10 minutes to soften sebum and open pores 2. If there's no irritation, leave the nose pack on for an hour (reapply essence if it dries) 3. Gently roll the nose pack around the nose area, bridge, and sides 4. Apply a cotton pad soaked in chilled green tea water (or toner) from the fridge for 5-10 minutes 5. Rinse with cold water 6. If sebum is still stubborn, gently roll a cotton swab dipped in cleansing oil. (At this point, it might get a bit messy, but after washing your hands, you can insert a finger into your nostril to stretch the nose and roll with the cotton swab. This is less irritating than using an extractor or squeezing with your nails.) To be honest, just steps 1 and 6 might be effective even without the nose pack. I plan to try that next time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2020
It's not irritating since you don't have to peel it off. Even if you don't see immediate results, after using it two or three times, you'll notice it melts into your skin nicely. The price and potentially harmful ingredients are downsides. It's a shame it's not easily available in regular stores. Try using it at least three times! Don't try to force quick results from the start - give it some time to work its magic. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2020
It's moisturizing and thin, adhering perfectly to the skin. It's incredibly comfortable to wear. While there's no immediate cooling effect when first applied, it develops over time. It washes off easily with water, which is convenient, and it's not irritating. With consistent use, I've noticed it effectively removes excess sebum. 20 minutes seems insufficient, and occasionally it can feel a bit tingly if you have a lot of excess oil. - dj********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2020
I've been struggling with blemishes for so long and tried many 3-step nose packs, but nothing ever came out. It was a waste of money and hurt my nose. However, the Lemon Tea Tree pack doesn't pull out the blemishes, but rather feels like it softens and dissolves them. I bought three tubes and use it once a week. First of all, I love that it's not irritating! For the first time ever, I've seen some results with a couple of blackheads coming out... haha, so this is what success feels like! There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product! Remember, blackheads are oxidized sebum, so instead of trying to eliminate them all at once, it's better to maintain a consistent skincare routine. After reading many reviews, I learned a tip: don't rinse off the remaining solution on your nose right away. Instead, gently massage it in before rinsing.
