It's more oil-based than water-based, and after application, you can really feel it coating your face. It's perfect for those with dry skin to use in the evening after a hydration-focused skincare routine, as it helps lock in moisture.
ConsPersonally, I found the scent to be reminiscent of ointment, which I didn't particularly enjoy. Those who are sensitive to fragrances might want to keep this in mind.

At first, I was skeptical about its effectiveness, but I can genuinely feel my skin has improved significantly. It's so gentle that even people with atopic dermatitis can use it without irritation, which is fantastic. I'd recommend this brand to those with dry or combination dehydrated skin! However, it might feel a bit heavy for those with oily skin.
ConsAfter application, there's a slightly sticky feeling that only improves if you keep patting it in to help it absorb. The lingering stickiness is a bit of a downside... And the scent... it's identical to wood glue! Every time I let someone borrow it, they all ask if it's actually wood glue...

I actually intended to buy the PP balm. When I go to cosmetics stores, I get nervous with all the people around. Even though I carefully choose online, I end up buying without properly checking in-store. The container has French on top, English below, and Korean on the back (though hidden by packaging). So if you at least glance at the English on the box or the picture and think 'Hmm... A...Ato...A...toderm? Atoderm!' you shouldn't go wrong. Now for my review after using it... 1. The large size is great. I used to always buy 500ml, then switched to a 400ml emulsion, and now back to 500ml. It really makes you realize how big 500ml is! Plus, I got a set with an extra 200ml, which made it feel even more abundant. 2. I like that you can see how much cream is left. While transparent containers are more vulnerable to direct sunlight, this one isn't completely clear glass-like, but a whitish transparent container, so it's good! 3. The moisturizing barrier is very rich. Even during this transitional season when skin tends to get dry, it provides intense hydration. But it's not thick and sticky - it applies smoothly without leaving a white cast. There's a slight stickiness, but not bothersome at all! Many creams feel more like emulsions, but fortunately, this time I think I bought a good cream!
Cons1. It's a shame it doesn't contain ceramides. It's not a big deal, but I've become a bit of a ceramide addict after using so many products with it. When it's in a product, I feel like my skin is getting healthier, and when it's not, I feel a bit disappointed. I bought this without checking if it had ceramides or not. But that doesn't mean the product isn't good - it's excellent! 2. The scent is a bit chemical-like? It's somewhat strong. It's not as intense as hair products, but when you smell it up close, it gives a slight headache and makes your eyes sting a bit??? I'm not saying it's unbearably strong - you can definitely use it. It's just that the scent is a bit disappointing. I think adding fragrance might make it easier to use. 3. While I mentioned good moisturizing power in the positives, there's a slight oiliness that makes me wonder if it might clog pores... However, I haven't noticed any issues while using it, so I'm still using it well. I think it would be perfect for mid-winter, and even in summer, it could work well for combination to dry skin types.
Tip1. After showering, apply the emulsion immediately when your skin is still slightly damp to prevent it from drying out! Many people, including myself, know this but probably won't follow it, so I'm just mentioning it!!! 2. I've also tried the Atoderm Intensive Baume, and it has almost no scent and feels much more elastic, so I think I'll go back to using that. 3. I've heard that some products without authentication marks can be genuine, while some with marks can be fake. It's really worrying... It's best to buy from offline stores when possible.

There's plenty of product, so we're applying it all over our bodies.
ConsWhile it's unscented, there's a slight medicinal smell. It's not overpowering though, so we're continuing to use it regularly.

It's just... okay? You do get a lot for the price though.
ConsThe stickiness lingers on your hands for a while, and while I can tolerate the face feeling a bit tacky after application, the hydration is just average. Also, the scent reminds me of that modeling clay we used to buy at the stationery store back in elementary school.

It seems like an excellent body emulsion for the whole family.
ConsThe scent isn't great. It's supposed to be unscented, but to me it smells a bit like medicine... Still, since added fragrances can be problematic, unscented might be better.

Plus, the large volume means it'll last for ages!
ConsIt's a bit too rich for my liking and doesn't quite tackle deep dryness. Also, the scent reminds me slightly of wood glue.

In winter, my skin cracks if I don't apply cream. I used this cream as a body moisturizer rather than on my face, as my facial skin is extremely sensitive. 1. Texture It has a slightly runny consistency for a body cream. It feels more like an emulsion. 2. Scent It's almost fragrance-free. I appreciate the non-irritating scent. 3. Hydration The hydrating power is quite good. It works well as a body cream, especially since you usually put clothes on after applying. 4. Ingredients The ingredients are fairly good. I'm on my second bottle and would consider purchasing it again.
ConsI didn't notice any particular downsides. Perhaps the price...? Oh, the scent might be a matter of personal preference. It's almost fragrance-free with a very slight artificial note.
TipIt has a slightly rich feel, so when using it as a body cream, it's nice to massage it in. The warmth from your hands helps it absorb even better, leaving your skin feeling more hydrated.

For reference, I have extremely dry skin in oily areas and super sensitive dry skin that cracks and turns red in winter. I switched from Physiogel AI to this because it's much more affordable. It's less oily and stiffer than AI or Avène Trixera. It doesn't seem to refine skin texture, just provides a moisturizing barrier. My face feels comfortable after using it, but it's not enough on its own for deep winter. However, I like that it comes in a generous amount suitable for both face and body use, it's affordable, and it's not overly sticky when applied to the body. As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciated that it wasn't irritating.
ConsThe lid... is this for real? It's incredibly hard to open. At first, I kept scratching my hand on the opening part. It was a real struggle. Also, the scent is a bit... chemical? It doesn't linger after application, but those with sensitive noses might not like it.
TipBecause it's thick, if you apply too much at once, it doesn't absorb well. It's best to start with a thin layer, let it absorb fully, then apply another layer if needed. It seems to work well mixed with jojoba oil - that combination is fantastic.

Hydration The hydrating power is incredible! It does an excellent job of sealing in the moisture from your toner, preventing it from evaporating. This keeps your skin from drying out and maintains a comfortable, moisturized feeling for a long time. I was amazed at how well it hydrates with just a small amount, without feeling like there's a heavy layer on your skin. 2. Finish This cream gives your skin an incredibly bouncy, elastic feel. I usually dislike products that feel like they're forming a film on my face, but as I mentioned earlier, this one doesn't have that effect. Instead, it leaves your skin with a delightfully plump and supple finish. If you use a hydrating toner and follow up with this cream, your skin becomes so elastic it almost feels like it would stick to your hand! I personally found that this bouncy, supple finish helped my makeup apply more smoothly. 3. Glow When you apply this cream, it gives your skin a beautiful glow. It's the kind of radiance that makes your complexion look incredibly healthy. If you're a fan of glowy makeup, you'll love this cream. Of course, the glow might vary depending on the toner or other products you use, but I found it gave me a beautiful glow regardless of which toner I paired it with. 4. Large Size As I share skincare products with my sisters, I prefer larger sizes. This product comes in a generous amount, so I didn't have to worry about running out for a long time. I actually bought a set from Olive Young that included a 200ml and a 500ml bottle during a promotion. I've been using this cream exclusively for almost a year now!
Cons1. Fragrance In my opinion, the fragrance is the only downside to this cream. It's such a great product that works so well for me, but... the scent is quite artificial or synthetic. This might be unpleasant for some people when they first use it. I'm not a fan of fragranced cosmetics, but I couldn't just not use something I'd bought, so I persevered. Now I'm used to it and don't find it particularly off-putting or unpleasant anymore.
