  Unfortunately, there's nothing particularly positive to mention. At this price point, I'd probably opt for a different product.

  Cons

  It doesn't seem suitable for oily scalps. Compared to other products, it makes my hair get greasy faster. It leaves my hair feeling stiff, making a conditioner absolutely necessary. I don't think I'll use it again. Also, it doesn't lather as well as other shampoos I've tried.

  After using it for about a month, I found that my scalp itching has almost completely disappeared. I have an extremely dry scalp that constantly produces dandruff, and even when using shampoos for dry scalps, the itching persisted. However, since switching to Dr. Groot, I really feel like my scalp has become healthier.

  Cons

  The scalp itching hasn't completely vanished. And there's no avoiding the fact that it makes my hair feel a bit stiff.

  I can't say there's any special effect. It's just a decent shampoo. What I like is that it's gentle and cleanses well. Compared to other shampoos, my hair feels less oily the next day.

  Review from a lucky The Hwahae Tester winner: 1. Scalp cleansing effectiveness I'm the type whose scalp gets oilier during seasonal changes, but after switching to this shampoo, my scalp feels noticeably cleaner and fresher! There's also a mild cooling sensation, which is nice. I have incredibly thick hair, so I usually need to pump most shampoos at least 3 times (for reference, I needed at least 5 pumps with the previous Witch Factory Hug Shampoo). With this product, 2 pumps are enough! (I can't stress enough how thick my hair is... haha) 2. Stronger hair and reduced itching Perhaps because it cleanses the scalp so well, my hair feels stronger, and most importantly, my scalp doesn't itch at all! Of course, this may vary depending on your scalp type, but I wanted to highlight this as a major plus.

  Cons

  1. Citrus scent This is entirely personal preference, but I'm not a fan of citrus scents... However, I've noticed that most scalp care shampoos have either a citrus or menthol scent! This is just something to keep in mind. 2. Slight stiffness While the scalp feels refreshed, the hair does feel a bit stiff...

  Tip

  It works great when used with the water treatment! You can maintain that refreshed scalp feeling while keeping your hair soft.
