The absorbs well, making it a pleasure to apply. Unlike other brightening moisturizers that can feel thick and prone to pilling, this product has a light emulsion-like texture that minimizes clumping. It provides a natural-looking brightening effect. Due to its hydrating nature, it doesn't dramatically whiten or brighten the skin. Like most brightening moisturizers, it doesn't offer much coverage. I've been dealing with really bad dark circles lately, so I bought this to cover them up. While it doesn't completely hide them, I'm absolutely loving it! So far, I don't have any major complaints, but... how should I put it? It brightens my complexion naturally, as if it's my own skin. For a brightening moisturizer, it has surprisingly long-lasting effects and leaves my skin feeling fresh and matte! In winter, when my skin gets dry, it tends to flake and emphasize dead skin cells. If I don't apply a solid base of skincare and just put this on top, it pills. Even with a moisturizing base, the matte finish can make my skin look dry and flakey. Using this with a cushion foundation is a disaster. It's good for quick trips to the supermarket or light outings though.

I love how it instantly brightens my complexion, has great staying power, and keeps my skin feeling hydrated. While it worked fine for me, some people might find the scent a bit off-putting.

It's been about 3-4 months since I bought it, and I've still got about a third left. The texture is quite runny. You can see the brightening effect immediately after application. I have combination dehydrated skin that's slightly sensitive with a pale complexion prone to redness, so at first, I applied it very sparingly, patting it in thoroughly. I'm not sure if it ever pilled. When I apply this and then use a cushion puff for foundation, it creates a beautifully soft-focus skin effect! The scent is a bit... It's probably the least favorite among all the cosmetics I've ever bought. Because of that, I can't use it frequently or in large amounts. I ended up using it more on my elbows than on my face. Also, despite its runny consistency, it feels more oily than hydrating. When applying to your face, you really need to use a tiny amount and apply it bit by bit. I have oily, acne-prone skin with dehydration issues and use shade 21. This product is so gentle, which I love! It's great for hydration, and when I apply it, my face looks brighter. It's perfect for those quick trips out when I'm not wearing makeup. I'm already on my third bottle of this product! The application isn't the smoothest, so you need to pat it in. If you don't let it absorb fully before applying makeup, it can cause pilling. Make sure to give it enough time to sink in. That being said, it doesn't take too long to absorb.
