I have dry skin, but this is really hydrating and totally fine! I was using Chica y Chico brightening moisturizer, but it emphasized my dead skin cells badly. Then I tried mixing it with oil, but that got expensive. So I was searching for a hydrating brightening moisturizer when I discovered Petit Pai!

Using this with a cushion foundation is a disaster. It's good for quick trips to the supermarket or light outings though.

In winter, when my skin gets dry, it tends to flake and emphasize dead skin cells. If I don't apply a solid base of skincare and just put this on top, it pills. Even with a moisturizing base, the matte finish can make my skin look dry and flakey.

It brightens my complexion naturally, as if it's my own skin. For a brightening moisturizer, it has surprisingly long-lasting effects and leaves my skin feeling fresh and matte!

I snagged this on Coupang Rocket Delivery for less than the regular price. It's been about 3-4 months since I bought it, and I've still got about a third left. The texture is quite runny. You can see the brightening effect immediately after application. I have combination dehydrated skin that's slightly sensitive with a pale complexion prone to redness, so at first, I applied it very sparingly, patting it in thoroughly. I'm not sure if it ever pilled. When I apply this and then use a cushion puff for foundation, it creates a beautifully soft-focus skin effect!

The application isn't the smoothest, so you need to pat it in.
If you don't let it absorb fully before applying makeup, it can cause pilling. Make sure to give it enough time to sink in.
That being said, it doesn't take too long to absorb.
