As soon as you apply it, your skin texture becomes slightly matte. It's almost like you've applied a BHA product or a primer. And this matte effect lasts quite a while. Without this, my makeup would start to get oily in the T-zone around 1-2 PM after applying it before work. But since using this, it's not until late afternoon that oil slowly starts to appear. Even then, the oiliness comes through very mildly. There's a slight burning sensation immediately upon application (this might be because I have super sensitive skin). However, it feels different from the irritation caused by allergy-inducing ingredients - it's more like there's a mint-like component in it. The product seems to work hard at controlling oil throughout the day, which is great for combination dehydrated skin types. It appears to effectively even out the skin tone and provide a long-lasting matte finish without causing excessive dryness.
