I had the chance to try the Balmain shampoo as a hotel amenity. At first, I didn't know that the brand itself was so well-known. But when using the shampoo, I really liked the squeaky clean feeling during the washing process.

I had high expectations when I tried the hair care products from Balmaison.
The 50ml sizes of the shampoo and conditioner I used were perfect for travel and easy to carry around.

The biggest advantage of these products, in my opinion, is the scent. Among the many shampoos and conditioners on the market, this one had a truly outstanding fragrance. Personally, I felt it was similar to Moroccan oil hair oil, with a slightly neutral and woody aroma, as well as a hint of musk. While scent preferences can be subjective, I personally enjoyed the fragrance. When using the shampoo and conditioner together, the lingering scent on my hair lasted quite a long time.

As for the performance, the shampoo did not produce an excessive amount of lather, but it still provided good cleansing power, which I was satisfied with. However, I did not immediately experience significant moisturizing, nourishment, cuticle repair, or static reduction from using the shampoo and conditioner.

While the ingredients are not entirely mild, the products do contain beneficial components for hair, such as vitamin E and silk amino acids. The fact that they are paraben-free and preservative-free was also a positive for me.

I would like to continue using these products in larger sizes for a more sustained, long-term experience.

I'd like to mention that the price-to-volume ratio is a bit low, and the ingredients don't seem to be the absolute best haha.

This is the softest hair I've ever had from a shampoo, and the scent is also great. I use it with the conditioner, and even though I usually can't go without a hair treatment, this shampoo and conditioner alone are sufficient for daily use, even on busy mornings haha.

I tried using it with a face mask, and it worked well.

The size is small, so I have to use it sparingly and worry about running out. It would be great if they had a 1000ml size like Aveda. I don't think this would be a good fit for someone who likes a lot of volume.

This is a moisturizing shampoo, but it also has nourishment. It really leaves my hair feeling soft and calm.
