The essence feels like a sheet mask serum, you know? I have dry but healthy skin, and at some point, I started getting small blemishes and feeling a bit of itchiness. So I repurchased this to use again. When I use it, my skin definitely feels less dry, and if I layer it 2-3 times, it's even more hydrating and absorbs well into my skin - SSG!!! The price in the $100 range isn't bad. As a mid-30s person with dry skin, I'd rate the product performance 4.0-4.5 out of 5. I haven't found a perfect 5 yet, but I'll keep searching hard!!!! It's soft, but doesn't have that super firm feeling. Why? Because it's a skin essence. But these days, some skin essences have that tightening effect. This one... not so much. If you layer the essence 2-3 times, you can use less cream! I've been dealing with allergic contact dermatitis on my face for 5 years (due to dog and cat allergies), which evolved from atopic dermatitis to acne-prone skin. My skin improved a lot after living alone, but I was still super sensitive to skincare products. I could only use aloe soothing gel and Illiyoon soothing gel. My mom wanted the Gohongjin set, so I bought it for her and kept one set for myself. At first, it was a bit itchy, but I quickly got used to it and now use it well. Fortunately, my skin feels much more balanced. Before, wearing makeup would cause my skin to break out the next day, but now I only get a few blemishes. After using it for a year, I still get one or two pimples occasionally, but I've received many compliments on my improved complexion. People often mention how my skin glows after applying these products. Now I can even use other skincare products. I'm so grateful! +My mom says it has improved her wrinkles too. The product feels heavy. The price is quite steep. It seems more suitable for older individuals to see benefits. For oily skin, it's better to apply a small amount. When I applied it generously, my skin felt heavy and my pores seemed clogged. In fact, using too much product caused painful blemishes in my case. It's a clear gel that absorbs instantly upon application. The finish is refreshingly light without any stickiness or oily residue. I've been using it alongside my Gohongjin cream, and I'm happy to report no blemishes or adverse reactions. The price is absolutely wicked! I'm not sure if the results justify the cost. It absorbs well into the skin, which is great. This essence doesn't leave any sticky feeling. My skin feels dry. I don't think it has much of a brightening effect either.

Currently, thanks to medication, I have almost no inflammation, but there's still severe redness all over my face, especially around the nose. I've also used this when I had blemishes. Scent: Essentially fragrance-free, no particularly strong scent. Texture, application, and absorption: It has a gel-like consistency that doesn't run. Applies smoothly and absorbs very well. It's not sticky or heavy, and the absorption is good, making it easy to apply. Moisture balance and hydration: Hydration level similar to aloe gel. Doesn't feel particularly moisturizing. Didn't cause any blemishes during use, but despite claims of addressing overall skin concerns, I didn't notice any improvement in blemishes or brightening effects. Won't be repurchasing. Very high price. The effect is minimal compared to the cost. The lack of offline stores makes it impossible to test, and it's difficult to properly understand and use the product even when shopping online. My skin wasn't in great condition, but I started using this as a gift from my family. I had redness, large pores, and an extremely oily T-zone, with deep dryness - the worst combination for skin. I've always had a lot of heat in my head area, which didn't help. After using the Gohongjin essence and cream, I was amazed to wake up every morning with soft, smooth skin. It really felt like my skin was recovering. Since then, I've been purchasing and using it myself. I believe it's a Korean product, and it's designed to absorb well into the skin. I'm very satisfied. You can feel the essence absorbing quickly when you apply it. However, there's a slight tightening sensation afterwards. So I apply a generous amount of essence and immediately follow up with the cream.
