As you pat it in, it absorbs surprisingly quickly and leaves no oily residue, making it convenient to apply the next product right away.
ConsHaving dry skin, I only feel like I've properly moisturized after applying both the essence and a cream on top. Being an essence, the quantity is smaller, so it runs out faster than toners or creams.

It's lightweight, which I'd recommend for those with oily skin. There's hardly any oiliness to it at all. I apply it not just to my face, but also to my neck and back. Instead of cramming in various nutritional ingredients, it focuses on centella asiatica as the main ingredient, which feels great for hydration and soothing the skin.
ConsIt feels similar to aloe gel, but the price is on the higher side. Being a 'quasi-drug' with mild ingredients, you can't expect dramatic effects. Even with two layers, it's absolutely impossible to use this alone!
TipIt works well on the neck or back, and you can also try layering it two or three times before applying a light gel cream.
