I purchased this for fixing my bangs. It has strong hold and a really nice scent. There is a spray that makes my hair turn white every time I use it, but this one is not like that at all - it sprays on smoothly and feels great! I've tried using it to fix my bangs. The roots don't come out too softly, it's like water is dripping, but personally it didn't bother me much. You can spray it only on the areas you want to fix.
