I saw a lot of small granules that looked like green specks, and the scent was not overbearing but refreshing. The product I used before was also vegan and all, but when I actually used it, the scent was neither grassy nor bleach-like. This one had a nice fresh grassy scent. When I just lathered it on my wet hands, the foam wasn't super bubbly, but when I used enough water on my face and either double-cleansed or used a vibrating cleansing device, the foam lathered up nicely and worked well. I haven't tried using it with my makeup on, so I'm not sure how effective the cleansing is, but after just washing my face, there was no tight or squeaky clean feeling.
ConsOn the day of full makeup, it is insufficient for primary cleansing or for use alone.
