It absorbs smoothly and cleanly, doesn't transfer onto clothes, and has a matte texture without leaving residue. The lightweight feel makes it easy to carry around and apply to the back of the neck or arms on the go. While it gets used up quickly with frequent application, a significant amount remains at the end of the stick, which is difficult to use completely. - ks*****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 6, 2023
It feels relatively soft and smooth without excessive richness. It seems to absorb well. No matter which one I use, I feel a heavy, rich texture that's somewhat suffocating, like it's just sitting on my skin. I don't have any special tips. In my experience, they all end up feeling the same. - my*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 3, 2023
It's incredibly lightweight, applies smoothly without any white cast or pilling, making it perfect for use not just on the face but all over the body. As someone with super sensitive skin, I found it very comfortable to use. For a stick sunscreen, the quantity is generous and the sun protection is high, so I'll definitely be repurchasing this in the future! While I didn't have any major issues, I noticed a slight stinging sensation when applied too close to the eyes. It was fine as long as I avoided that area though. The fact that it doesn't leave any white residue or transfer makes it ideal for use on the body and neck. You can confidently wear white shirts or other clothing without worrying about stains. It works hard to protect your skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2022
I can honestly say this is the best sun stick I've ever used! It glides on smoothly without any oiliness, leaving my skin completely matte. I relied on it heavily during summer. I'm on my fifth stick now and always make sure to use every last bit. It's truly amazing! I'm at a loss for what to write as a downside... It's genuinely fantastic. You'll notice the difference the moment you try it! - rl**********Combination SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2021
As a man in my mid-20s with combination skin, I bought this product as a sunstick for easy reapplication when I'm out. First off, there's absolutely no white cast or brightening effect, but it does leave a slight glow, similar to applying a balm-type skincare product. While it's a decent product overall, I think its biggest advantage is how well it absorbs. The application is just right - not too draggy or stiff, and not too slippery either. It absorbs really well! It does feel a bit rich on the skin. Also, it doesn't adhere well, so it easily rubs off on clothes or desks. I frequently reapply it on my neck, arms, and legs. - we*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2021
This product is truly satisfying! It's the first stick-type sunscreen I've used that doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything and fits perfectly on my skin. There's absolutely no oiliness, and it has become my summer essential! It really stings if it gets in your eyes. Also, since it's not waterproof, it dissolves when you get in the water after applying it to your face! I use it for my body instead of my face. I was a bit worried about using it on my face since I have blemish-prone skin. - al******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 7, 2021
After briefly straying from my beloved Missha Centella sunstick and trying various products, I wanted to return to sunsticks only to find Missha had discontinued theirs... While searching for a replacement, I noticed they all contained stearic acid. Then I discovered the La Porticell sunstick! I snagged it at Lohb's for 16,800 won during a 1+1 sale. The convenience of just gliding it on is why I use sunsticks. Plus, this product works hard! I absolutely detest greasy, white-cast sunscreens/sticks, but La Porticell's isn't like that at all! It actually feels powdery soft. While I prefer moisturizing sunscreens (though finding one that's hydrating without being oily is tough... many 'moisturizing' ones I've tried were oddly disappointing. B-plane was good, but after the SPF controversy, I'm keeping my distance from that brand...), I love powdery sunsticks. It plays well with base makeup, staying put without interfering. Again, the number one advantage of sunsticks is convenience, so if the ingredients are decent, the price is right, and it performs well, I'm sold. There are some caution ingredients, but it's exhausting to scrutinize everything, and as long as it doesn't cause blemishes on my face, I'm okay with this level of caution ingredients! The regular price is a bit high, but Lohb's often has sales. The sad part is that Lohb's is less visible on the streets compared to their competitor Olive Young. You can buy online, but who likes paying for shipping? Slather it on your face, arms, and legs with gusto! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 5, 2021
It's great to use because it doesn't clump or feel sticky even when reapplied. It glides on smoothly, and after application, it feels soft and doesn't irritate the eyes. The amount is small, and since it's colorless and transparent, it's hard to tell if it's being applied properly. - jy********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 27, 2021
1. Snagged it at a great price during a sale. 2. The ingredients are pretty good, and it didn't cause any blemishes. 3. No pilling issues. 4. There's an artificial scent, but it's not unpleasant. 5. Doesn't irritate the eyes. It's completely transparent, so you can't tell if you've applied it or not. The packaging claims a matte finish, but it leaves my face feeling oily. Not sure how it would work for dry skin. The quantity is too small. The product breaks easily and doesn't come out well. When applied to the body, it leaves a white residue on short sleeves, though it washes out in the laundry. It's a brand I hadn't heard of before, but I'm satisfied with the ingredients. It might be worth picking up during a sale. It rinses off easily with water, so you don't even need to use a foam cleanser in the shower. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinJul 23, 2021
I bought this during a 1+1 sale at Olive Young. It's truly velvety smooth and absorbs well. Easy to apply with a quick swipe, and there's absolutely no white cast. Among sunsticks, this might be the most powdery-soft one. As for the scent... I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so it didn't bother me (if I remember correctly, it's supposed to be unscented). Being a sunstick, the product seems to run out quickly, which is a shame. Moreover, I checked the ingredients and realized it's an organic UV filter, using chemical principles to block UV rays, so it contains various components. For reference, I have combination skin with mild atopic dermatitis on my face, and atopic dermatitis on my body. While it's fine on my face, when I apply it to my body, I get hives after a while... even after washing thoroughly. I'd recommend those with sensitive skin like mine to avoid this product... I recommend this to those looking for a powdery-soft sunscreen with good absorption, especially if you have oily skin. Also, if you want to 'test' whether your skin is sensitive or resilient, try applying it to your body... I don't care if the amount runs out quickly!
