I've never tried a matte skin expression before because I have dry skin, but I tried it because of the mask. It's fluffy and nice.

I purchased this product after seeing a YouTuber selling it with a great structure and special price. The case and design seem to have been carefully considered. The brush that came with it was much softer and nicer than I expected! As for the product performance, after applying it as a base, it makes my skin feel smooth and even, so when I apply foundation on top, it finishes with a dewy and soft look. My skin looks so smooth and fluffy that I can't help but keep touching it lightly. It also helps the foundation stay well, so it doesn't transfer as much onto my mask (though it does transfer a bit). It's great to use in the summer!
Cons
The biggest downside of this product is the price... ( ･ᴗ･̥̥̥ ) Dry-skinned people will need to pay extra attention to their skincare routine, especially outside of summer. I have combination skin, and my cheeks and lip area are dry even in summer. After applying it all over my face based on other reviews, I noticed that it clung more to the drier areas over time. Especially right after application, the problematic areas had a white, flaky appearance that I had to press down with the cushion. However, I don't feel like my skin is deeply dehydrated - it's more of an appearance thing... (The oily T-zone area works great, though) It might be better to just apply it a couple of times on the areas with more prominent pores. But I still really want to use this product, even with a solid skincare routine! Oh, and like other primers I've tried, this one doesn't completely hide my larger pores, but it does help smooth out the medium-sized ones.
Tip
In the set I purchased, it pairs really well with the Hera Black Foundation. It's almost like I got sold on both products... The downside is that both are quite pricey, but... haha
