The powder is finely milled, doesn't cause blemishes, and you get a lot for your money. It's also a great deal if you buy it on Coupang! I'd recommend this for those who only use powder on specific areas of their face.
ConsI regret thinking all powders were the same in the past. After finishing my skincare routine with a dewy, plump finish, I apply powder to my forehead and chin areas because I don't like my hair sticking to my face. However, perhaps because the particles are so fine, it feels like it's just sitting on top of my skin rather than blending in. You might not notice the difference, but it doesn't feel like my skin, skincare, foundation, and powder are all blended together. Instead, it's as if the powder is just resting on top of my skin, skincare, and foundation. It doesn't enhance my complexion in a way that suits my preferences.
TipI go through more than 3 containers of powder a year, and I don't discriminate between loose powders and powder compacts - I think they all have different characteristics! If you only use powder to control oil in specific areas before applying makeup, I'd recommend loose powder. However, if you have oily or combination skin and need to mattify your entire face before applying color cosmetics, you'll likely be much more satisfied with a powder compact.
