After using it for about 4 days, my uneven forehead seems to be becoming smoother.
ConsThe areas with blemishes feel stinging, and when using the lotion as well, it feels excessively greasy.

I have combination skin with dehydration, and when I apply a lightweight cream, it becomes dry and oily, causing acne. When I use a rich cream, it makes my skin oily and causes acne as well. Since my skin lacks moisture, the skin barrier doesn't regenerate well, and my thin skin leads to severe redness. The lack of moisture protection makes my skin even drier... it was a vicious cycle. But this product is not a rich formula, and it properly provides moisture, breaking the cycle. The name says it's a toner, but it's actually a gel, not water. It's not like an aloe gel, but it feels like it provides sufficient hydration. In the winter, when I just use this, my skin feels a bit tight, so I apply a lightweight moisturizer (Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizer) on top, which balances the oil and provides good hydration. In the summer, I only use this on the oily areas and apply the moisturizer on the dry parts, which keeps it from feeling heavy. I've been using it for about 3 months, and since it provides proper hydration, my sebum production has significantly decreased, and my acne has improved a lot. My skin barrier has also improved, reducing redness. The amount is generous, so my sister and I share a bottle, which lasts us about 3 months. So I bought one more.
ConsIt's quite expensive, despite the generous amount. While I spent a considerable amount on this product and it helped improve my acne, which I had been going to a dermatologist for, the cost is still quite high. So I didn't recommend it to those around me, and just kept it to myself. However, I wanted to share this in case anyone else is considering it. That said, those with oily skin may not necessarily need to use this. If there are similar formulas with 1) sufficient hydrating ingredients and 2) no oiliness, using that along with a lightweight moisturizer could also be effective for acne improvement.
TipFor those with acne-prone, dehydrated skin and redness, please do not over-exfoliate! Even if it's just using a damp cotton pad like a face mask, avoid scrubbing with cotton pads. The common belief that acne is caused by clogged pores and built-up dead skin is too simplistic. The real issue is that the skin barrier is in an abnormal state, leading to lack of hydration, excess oil production, acne, and redness. Rather than aggressive exfoliation, the focus should be on hydration. But rich creams aren't ideal for those with oily, acne-prone skin either. That's why I'm recommending this particular product - it provides sufficient hydration without the heavy, oily feel. For oily, acne-prone skin types, even gentle occasional exfoliation may not be the best idea right now. It's better to focus on repairing the skin barrier first. Once the acne and redness have improved, you can then consider light, occasional exfoliation as maintenance. This is based on my own experience - I used to struggle with acne for months, but after focusing on hydration, my skin has significantly improved.
