Pros
As a cica-based cleanser, I was impressed by the variety of extracts it contains! That really appealed to me. Looking at the ingredients list, you can see them listed from the middle onwards. Regarding lather, squeezing it twice onto your index finger produces a decent amount. While it's not an overwhelming foam, it seems to lather up well for the amount used, which isn't bad. P.S. The second photo shows the amount of foam created from a full squeeze on one knuckle of my index finger. The after-feel: Once I removed the water with a towel, my skin felt dry yet soft. There wasn't a moisturized feeling, but the soft, powdery finish was quite nice. There was also a very subtle scent of the extracts (a herbal aroma). I didn't mind this aspect at all.
Cons
While the foam isn't bad, it doesn't create a rich lather, so you might go through the product quickly. Also, as you massage it in, the foam disappears rather fast, which was disappointing. So, in terms of lather, it felt pretty average. The product doesn't come out with much force - the texture seems to drip, which affected my usage. When you first squeeze it out, there's a strong herbal scent. It's fresh and crisp, but overall quite potent. I'm not a fan of strong scents, so I didn't like this aspect. After use, only the herbal scent remains and the intensity fades, which wasn't bad! After rinsing, the scent is barely noticeable. Just FYI! Right after use, the finish felt soft, but over time it became more drying. It started feeling smooth but then my skin began to feel rough, which was disappointing. I wouldn't really recommend this for acne-prone skin. Based on user reviews and ingredients (there are three red flags in the ingredient list), it might not be suitable. Make sure to thoroughly check the ingredients and full ingredient list to choose a product that suits you! Remember, everyone's skin is different, so take this as a reference only.
Tip
Make sure to wet your face thoroughly before use to prevent the foam from disappearing too quickly! Also, pool some water in your palm before squeezing out the product, and mix it carefully to prevent it from dripping. Since the finish can feel dry, apply moisturizer quickly after rinsing!

Pros
The Hwahae Testers review here! My skin type is sensitive combination - oily T-zone and dry U-zone. Due to wearing a mask at work, I have some blemishes on most of my face except for the forehead. 1. Cleansing effectiveness (⭐️⭐️⭐️) It's not bad, but you'll definitely need a separate remover for waterproof makeup before cleansing. Even for light makeup, I felt a bit uneasy and did a double cleanse with foam cleanser. It's perfect for days without makeup! However, it doesn't seem to control sebum or remove blackheads. 2. Gentle on skin (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) No blemishes appeared! So I was able to use it well for about 2 weeks. If I had broken out, I would have stopped using it immediately. After washing, there's a very subtle cooling effect on the face (a refreshing sensation?). It wasn't irritating at all, just a pleasant cooling feeling. I was quite satisfied with the cleansing effectiveness and how gentle it was, which are the most important factors for me. I liked that it didn't cause any blemishes, which usually happens when I change skincare products.
Cons
1. The foam isn't as rich as expected (probably because it's low pH?) 2. While it's not irritating, the cooling/refreshing sensation might not be pleasant for those with very sensitive skin. 3. Personally, I'm not a fan of the scent, which reminds me of grass or forest. It was a bit disappointing for me.

Pros
The Hwahae Testers Review I have dry skin, while my husband has acne-prone oily skin. It's not easy to find a cleansing foam we can both use, but this product works well for both of us. It's not too drying for my dry skin. It doesn't leave my face feeling squeaky clean, but it also doesn't leave any oily residue. Naturally, it's less effective at cleansing than oils or cleansing creams, but it's perfectly adequate as a second-step cleanser. It doesn't cause any major blemishes on acne-prone skin. Thanks to its good ingredients, I think it should be fine even for super sensitive skin.
Cons
As many people have mentioned, the scent is quite unique. It really does smell similar to bamboo salt toothpaste. The low pH cleanser I used before had a similar scent. Since it doesn't linger on the face, I don't particularly dislike it. I actually prefer it to overpowering fragrances or powdery scents often found in cosmetics. It doesn't produce a rich lather. This seems common for low pH cleansers. If you're looking for a foam that lathers well, you might not be satisfied with this.

The Hwahae Testers review: I wanted to give this a thorough try, so I used it consistently for about 2 weeks. First off, the cleansing effectiveness was average. I've attached photos showing how it performed on mascara, tint, eyeliner, etc. Personally, I don't have strong opinions about scents, so it was fine for me. The texture color was like a pearly shade with shimmer? It's the typical color you'd expect from a foam cleanser. After washing, my face didn't feel dry or tight. However, as someone with oily skin, I felt like it didn't quite remove everything, leaving me a bit unsatisfied. Still, those with dry skin might love that it doesn't cause tightness! Remember, skincare is very individual, so take this as a reference point.
Cons
The foam doesn't lather up richly at all. I have acne-prone oily skin, and I had switched all my foam cleansers and skincare to products that suit me well. While I still had some scarring, I hadn't been getting any noticeable blemishes, acne, or small bumps recently. However, after changing to this cleanser, I developed some blemishes on my right cheek. I used this for two weeks as part of The Hwahae Testers program to write this review, but I think those with sensitive skin or young people with delicate skin might be better off finding a more suitable foam cleanser among the many great options out there.
Tip
I don't think this would be suitable for oily skin types who prefer a squeaky clean finish, or for those with sensitive skin. It might cause blemishes to appear, and the slightly slippery after-feel left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. On the other hand, those with dry skin might appreciate that their skin doesn't feel tight after cleansing! This is just my personal experience, so please use it as a reference point.

This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! First off, I loved how gentle it was. It didn't cause any blemishes and I used it comfortably without any issues. Also, when rinsing, it creates bubbly foam that washes off without causing any deep dryness, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth!

Pros
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. First off, it's mildly acidic with gentle ingredients, a subtle fragrance, and it's really nice. Since I usually wear light makeup, it removes simple makeup well without a first cleansing step. It even perfectly wipes away lipstick and does a decent job on waterproof eyeliner. The cleansing effectiveness is top-notch! When rinsing, it leaves the skin feeling smooth, and there's no tightness after washing, which is especially great for dry skin. My daughter with blemish-prone skin says it works well for her too.
Cons

Pros
Volume=150ml, a generous size cleanser! True to its name, it seems perfect for gentle and sensitive skin! While it doesn't create an overwhelming or super rich lather, it produces a decent amount of foam, cleanses softly, and leaves no tightness after washing, which I love. With my previous product, I had to immediately spritz on mist or toner after cleansing, but with this one, I noticeably felt less deep dryness even without applying anything right away. The scent is like a subtle bamboo salt smell? Haha! I thought it was bamboo salt, but looking at the ingredients, it might be the Centella Asiatica leaf extract^^ The fragrance isn't strong, so it's comfortable to use! Though it's not specifically a makeup remover, I tried it just in case, and it does remove light makeup (cushion foundation, eyebrows). Using it after cleansing cream and tissues allowed for a gentle face wash, which was great! After using it morning and night for about a week, I felt like my skin became smoother. Since having a baby, breastfeeding, and getting exhausted from childcare, my skin had become a bit rough, but the gentle cleansing seems to be softening it. I'm satisfied~
Cons
When I compared it with the same amount of another product I've been using, the foam wasn't super rich! If you want abundant foam... you might need to squeeze out quite a bit more. (It might be because the other product I use produces a lot of foam with just a small amount) If you're someone who likes that squeaky clean feeling after washing, you might find this a bit slippery! It seems great for dry skin, but those with oily skin might find it lacking. It's more of a gentle, non-irritating cleansing style~
