After absorption, it feels incredibly lightweight! They say the azulene component has a soothing effect on irritated skin, and I could infer that the formula contains a decent amount of azulene based on the bluish-purple color, which is the inherent color of the azulene compound. I've used a few brands of azulene ampoules before, so I knew azulene is excellent for calming the skin, so I had high expectations for this product^^ The formula is a thin lotion type that you shake before use, and you can squeeze the product out of the pointed nozzle, which will flow out smoothly. You can either squeeze out a small amount and apply, or directly apply it to your face. Since it's a thin product, it's better to apply it in a few layers rather than all at once. The absorption is better than expected, so you can apply it in 2-3 layers. It spreads smoothly, which is especially nice when applying it on the body. There was no irritation like tightness or stinging around the eyes when I used it as a sun product, likely because of the many skincare ingredients in the formula.
ConsAt first, there was a silicone-like slippery feeling when applying it. But after applying, it was quickly absorbed, leaving a nicely powdery yet lightly occlusive feel - not at all drying. When I had completed my full skincare routine including this sunscreen, I didn't feel much dryness initially. But as the days went on and the sun got stronger, I did start to notice a bit more dryness. The product claims to help control skin temperature, but since I didn't experience very hot weather during the time I used it, I didn't get to fully appreciate that benefit. On days when I wore makeup on top, I felt a bit more internal dryness. I think the powder ingredients in the makeup combined with this product created a drying effect for my dry skin type. This sunscreen may work better for oily, combination, or normal skin types to maintain a smooth makeup look. My teenage daughter with an oily complexion really loved it though - she said it looked great when she added just a touch of tinted cream on top. As a dry-skinned person, I don't think I could use this every single day. Even though I liked the product, I probably wouldn't repurchase it since it didn't fully meet my personal skin needs.
TipIt seems like you need to build up a more solid, hydrating skincare base^^ The tip would be to use more hydrating products like a moisture ampoule to provide sufficient hydration. Avoiding too occlusive formulas would probably be better. On the days when you felt drier and used more cream, you even experienced some clogged pores ㅠㅠ When wearing makeup, using a more hydrating cushion foundation might help alleviate the dryness a bit. On the day you used the tinted cream, you mentioned misting frequently, which was a good way to add more moisture.

It wasn't sticky or overly pale, but rather a nicely balanced formula that provided tone correction while remaining soft and smooth. After application, it didn't feel heavy or cause any pilling before applying my base makeup. At first, I was surprised to see the lavender color instead of the expected white, but I actually ended up liking the lavender shade as it seemed well-suited for evening out my uneven skin tone.
ConsHowever, if you apply too much, it can feel a bit slippery when layering base makeup. I found that adding a light dusting of powder helped to set it better and prevent any unwanted shine. While it worked well for my dry skin, I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin types, as the excess oil content may cause a greasy, slippery appearance.
TipThis product isn't just great for the face, but can also be applied to other easily sun-exposed areas like the neck, hands, arms, and legs without any stickiness or white cast. I'd especially recommend using it on the hands as a sun protection step.

Since this is the first time I'm using a sun lotion formula, I can't really compare it to others, but I'm personally loving it so far. I usually just use a light sunscreen and skip the base makeup, except for special occasions. I previously used the Too Cool for School Jangjo Jirong, and both products have a similar slight tone-up effect and fluffy finish, but this one is a bit more runny. So it feels a bit slippery right after application. But the real highlight is how it develops over time. After about 30 minutes, my skin looks beautiful all day long. It feels so baby-soft, I was really surprised. The oil content is also almost negligible compared to the Jangjo Jirong. Oh, and on the days I apply a liquid blush after the sunscreen, the application is really smooth thanks to the slight slip (though not overly greasy). I'll add more later.
ConsNot much, really. If I had to nitpick: 1. Slightly slippery right after application? But this goes away in a few minutes, so not really an issue. 2. Small quantity/Expensive But I still want to keep repurchasing it. ㅠㅠ 3. Harmful ingredients...oh wait, 6 of them now? My chin suddenly started breaking out strangely...🤨 I thought it was because of the mask, but I'll have to be more careful now.
TipAfter your skincare routine, just shake this product well and apply it gently. (ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ) It's such an easy step, but...
