I have been a loyal user of foundation for the past 10 years, ever since I developed an unexplained case of seborrheic dermatitis in my mid-30s. I've had issues with enlarged pores and scarring since my college days, so I've always relied on foundation to cover these concerns. I've tried a variety of high-end foundations from brands like Bobbi Brown, Armani, Estée Lauder, Chanel, MAC, and Clinique. As a person with oily skin, I've always gravitated towards foundations with a 'full coverage' claim, like Estée Lauder Double Wear. However, as my skin has become increasingly dry lately, using matte foundations has made my skin look even more uneven and blemished. While the price tag has been steep, I haven't found a better foundation than the one I'm currently using. It not only provides excellent coverage, but it also gives my skin a smooth, seamless finish, filling in my pores and creating an overall flawless look.

The only downside is that it tends to rub off easily when wearing a mask, so I have to be diligent about using a setting spray and powder to keep it in place. But despite the high cost, it's still the best foundation I've found.

I recommend using a flat, densely-packed foundation brush to apply this product. Dab it onto your face, then use a spatula to spread it out evenly. Finally, use the brush to blend the edges outward for a seamless finish. Gently tapping with a cushion puff can also help improve the coverage over your pores.
