It absorbs really well and seems to be effective on inflammatory acne. As someone with oily skin, I feel it leaves a somewhat rich finish. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 31, 2022
It definitely seems to make my skin more hydrated after application! Since this is my first ampoule, I can't really compare it to other products. It's not completely oil-free, so it might be best to use it mainly during winter! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2022
It absorbs quickly without feeling sticky, making it very convenient to use! As it's a light product, it's not very rich. Those with extremely dry skin might find it insufficient for their needs. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 16, 2021
I bought an ampoule from the trusted COSRX! It's wonderfully hydrating. Those with oily skin might find it a bit too rich and potentially greasy. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2021
It absorbs well, almost like it's coating your skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth It feels slightly rich, which is a bit disappointing - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2021
Great for combination dehydrated skin, pores, sensitive skin, and redness issues. It has a slightly rich absorbs, but it's perfect for combination dehydrated skin during winter and seasonal changes. When hydrating serums aren't enough, this moisturizer feels like it replenishes both oil and moisture balance. The finish feels a bit rich, so those with very oily skin or those who prefer a lighter feel might not like it. Unfortunately, it's hard to find places that sell this product. I want to buy it, but I can't find it anywhere. If propolis works well for you, even those with oily skin can use this for hydration during winter. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2021
Since I have oily skin, I always avoid products with excess oil and opted for the light version! I find propolis ingredients work really well for me and I've seen great results, so I've been trying various propolis products. First off, I love that this product doesn't have that distinctive propolis scent! The ingredients are gentle, it has a high propolis content, and the price is affordable, so I plan to repurchase. The unique slippery feeling of propolis - that's somewhat oily but not quite - isn't completely absent! If you're looking for something without any oiliness or film-like feeling, I'd recommend Sidmool's Propolis Ampoule. The Sidmool one is completely watery! It works great with the propolis toner that came as a free gift! When used together with the toner, it keeps my skin hydrated, the moisture lasts longer, and my skin feels comfortable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 21, 2020
Pros: - Hygienic dropper packaging - Easy to apply - Mild fragrance - Light and refreshing texture - Perfect as a summer moisturizer With the recent heatwave, I've been using aloe vera as a moisturizer substitute every night, but I felt my skin was becoming dehydrated. Finally, with this product, I can properly hydrate my skin again! I highly recommend this for those with oily, sweaty skin in summer, especially if you have combination dehydrated skin! To sum up, it's a pretty versatile product that's worth trying if you have oily skin. While there weren't any major drawbacks, if I had to nitpick: - It's not completely oil-free, but a morning cleanse takes care of that - It doesn't specifically target blemishes, but that wasn't my expectation anyway - In terms of price, it's not the most budget-friendly option. It might be best to stock up during sales, though it's not excessively expensive either Pro tip: Store it in the fridge before use. Applying it cold feels incredibly refreshing! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 21, 2020
After cleansing, I applied this as a skin pack morning and night. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I absolutely loved it! It even helped smooth out some of my skin's texture! At first, my skin kept getting more hydrated, which was great. But after a while, I noticed blemishes popping up one by one around my nose and oilier areas. Those with oily skin might find this product challenging to use. When you apply this after using a skin pack and then put on makeup, it really helps your makeup adhere beautifully! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinJul 21, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I usually can't settle on one product and keep trying new ones, but recently I've been using Round Lab Dokdo Toner, Bad Skin Collagen Balm Ampoule, AHC Real Eye Cream, B-plane Ampoule, Yuseoli Repair Gel, and Laneige Water Bank Essence. I don't apply them all at once, but use 4-5 products including eye cream depending on my skin condition. When I was selected for The Hwahae Testers, I skipped my usual ampoule and only applied Dokdo Toner, Water Bank, COSRX Ampoule, and eye cream. I applied the COSRX Ampoule as the last step because it felt heavier than expected. I used one drop, spread it, gently pressed with my palms, and patted to absorb. The COSRX Ampoule feels like it creates a protective layer over other products. It seems to maintain moisture, so a small amount is sufficient. The texture is somewhere between B-plane and Bad Skin? It's not quite watery, but not completely liquid either... It's hard to describe, but that's how it compares to the products I use. Rather than being disappointed, I think this product would work better for my skin in spring, fall, and winter than now. During the two-week trial, I applied it morning and night, but found it worked better in the evening. When I wake up, there's no dryness. However, when I apply it in the morning, my skin gets very oily by afternoon. This is partly because I have combination dehydrated skin, and it's worse in summer. You must pat the COSRX Ampoule to absorb it. This prevents stickiness, ensures it doesn't sit on top of the skin, and gives a firm feeling.
