While it doesn't produce abundant foam, I understand this is due to the coco-betaine ingredient acting as a surfactant. The clean finish might not provide enough hydration for those with dry skin, although it didn't cause any tightness on my combination skin. Those with dry complexions might experience some deep dryness.
