First off, this is a rich, thick formula I love using in winter. It melts into the skin without clumping and absorbs well when applied. The scent is a subtle floral, not at all irritating. When used before base makeup, it helps the foundation adhere beautifully. Applying a generous amount before bed leaves my skin plump and deeply hydrated by morning, allowing for firm and moisturized skin without any dryness. The jar comes with a spatula to scoop out the right amount. I'm already in the habit of using spatulas for rich creams, so this wasn't inconvenient for me. However, those who find spatulas bothersome might find it a bit of a hassle.
While it didn't bother me personally, I honestly think the packaging design doesn't quite suit such a rich cream formula.
It works wonderfully when mixed with serums or used before applying base makeup.
