ConsDuring double cleansing, I experienced some tingling around my eyes. It was fine when I used just the foam cleanser, but when I added oil, it seemed to weaken my skin barrier. For my sensitive skin, this product felt a bit too harsh.

I rarely write reviews, but this was so terrible I had to come here.
Cons1. It's too thick, making it difficult to roll on. It's already not cost-effective for the amount, and using a lot at once makes it feel even more expensive. 2. The citrus scent is irritating from the moment you apply it. Absolutely not recommended for sensitive, red-faced, or dehydrated skin types. It stings my face! 3. The cleansing effectiveness is very poor. Most oils remove waterproof makeup, but this doesn't. Even after double cleansing, there's still eye makeup residue left. I saw other reviews mentioning this too. Trying to remove it more vigorously only leads to more irritation - it's a vicious cycle. 4. My previous oil cleanser needed only a small amount for a gentle massage that visibly removed sebum. This one doesn't roll well, and even after massaging vigorously, only a tiny bit of sebum comes out. Trying to extract more just irritates the skin. I wonder what function this product is supposed to serve? Does it even contain BHA? 5. Perhaps due to its weak cleansing power and irritating nature, I've developed numerous blemishes and sebum-filled bumps within days of using this. In short, this is truly one of the worst products I've ever used. It's headed for the trash. I tried to save money, but now I'm worried about my skin reacting badly. This really shows the importance of reading reviews. I should have checked Hwahae before buying. I was tempted by the sale, but now I'm going back to my trusty Graymelin. I'm cutting my losses with Hanskin.

There's really nothing good about it.
ConsMy skin had a terrible reaction to this product. The moment I applied it to remove my makeup, my face started burning and hurting so much. My eyes also became incredibly irritated and stinging.

The makeup cleansing effectiveness was also pretty decent. The texture was neither too thick nor too runny, which I liked. It did a good job of removing impurities while still leaving the skin feeling somewhat refreshed.
ConsI'm not sure if it's because my skin is sensitive, but I felt a slight burning and tingling sensation when using it. My sister was really satisfied with it (she has combination dehydrated skin, while I have slightly less oily skin that's more on the dry-combination side), but I found it a bit irritating. So I ended up buying the PHA product from the same line, which I'm using well now. It might be good for those who need oil control and don't have sensitive skin, but if you're on the sensitive side, you might want to avoid it...

ConsFrequent use can cause a stinging sensation, and it doesn't leave skin feeling thoroughly cleansed

Although it's called a cleansing oil, it actually contains very little oil. Following the instructions, I applied it to dry hands and dry skin after using makeup cleansing wipes for initial makeup removal. After 30 seconds, I massaged it in circular motions and rinsed with water. The cleansing effectiveness is impressive enough that you might not need to use additional soap.
ConsRather than a cleansing oil, this seems more like an exfoliating cleanser. Even with my resilient combination skin, I experienced a stinging sensation and felt dead skin cells sloughing off when patting my face with a towel. It's similar to when you don't rinse off a peeling gel properly, and your skin feels like it's shedding. While I'll continue using it since I exfoliate regularly, it's not suitable as a daily makeup remover, which was my original intention. When spreading it on my face and massaging after 30 seconds, it feels rough and stings in certain areas.
TipGiven its large size, it might be worth trying as a body exfoliator during showers, replacing my once or twice weekly peeling gel routine. As for a makeup remover, I'm not so sure...

The fragrance was nice though.
ConsAfter using it for a week, I got a lot of blemishes on my nose and cheeks. It was so irritating that I had to stop using it. Sigh... I downloaded the Hwahae app and found others with similar experiences.

I usually have skin of steel and find most products okay, but this one is really not good...! It does dissolve sebum a bit, and since it has BHA, you don't need to exfoliate separately.
Cons1. Despite being called an 'oil', it gets increasingly dry as you use it. At first, I thought it was fine as it applied smoothly, but it became harder to cleanse over time. 2. As it contains BHA, it stings if you cleanse thoroughly for a long time. My skin is usually very resilient and rarely gets irritated, but this product made my skin red and stingy. 3. I was intrigued by the ad claiming it dissolves sebum. However, it was worse than other cleansing oils. 4. The strong fragrance and alcohol smell were irritating. Scent is subjective, but as I've been using unscented or mildly scented products lately, this fragrance felt extremely strong to me. 5. The cleansing effectiveness is also not great... It doesn't remove Kiss Me mascara. For me, the most important criteria is whether it removes mascara well or not, and this product... its cleansing power is very poor. When I first used it, I thought everything was removed well, so I took a bath without worry. But when I looked in the mirror afterwards, there was a panda staring back at me! It didn't clean well at all, and I almost lost my eyelashes trying to remove the remaining makeup with my nails. Be extra thorough when cleansing if you're wearing shimmery eyeshadow! 6. It's also expensive... Don't pay full price for this!
TipIf you gently emulsify it with water, it's somewhat... okay.

Blackheads....?......??
ConsA cleansing oil should obviously cleanse, but this one didn't do a good job. After washing, my skin still felt unclean. It claims to remove blackheads, but it didn't make even the slightest difference. Worse, it seemed a bit harsh and made my skin sting as if it was burned. Not recommended.

ConsI don't have super sensitive skin, but my face kept tingling after using this. I'm not entirely sure if it's because of this product, but I'm going to stop using it for a while. Definitely not recommended for those with sensitive skin.
