  This is my first time trying a primer. I love that it comes with a pump, making it easy to dispense the right amount. After applying, my skin feels wonderfully matte.

  Maybe it's because this is my first time using a primer... It seems to adhere well, but when I apply the cover cream on top, it feels like it's separating.

  The texture is incredibly lightweight. It doesn't leave your skin feeling dry after use. While it has a pore-blurring effect, it's subtle rather than intense. It doesn't clog pores at all. When applied to the forehead, T-zone, and chin, it helps control oiliness to some extent. There's noticeably less shine compared to not using it.

  It has almost no scent, and compared to other primers, it seems to offer a generous amount at a more affordable price.

  Cons

  As expected with a primer, it clogs pores. But instead of making my pores look smaller, it just makes me look like I'm wearing thick makeup. This prevents foundation from adhering properly, so if I bump into something, the makeup comes off. Maybe I'm not applying it correctly. I've tried using my hands, a puff, and a spatula.

  Tip

  The best method I found was using a makeup spatula (not the one for scooping creams, but the cosmetic tool from Picasso) to spread it evenly, almost as if filling in the skin.

  The difference between using and not using this is significant. When applying makeup after the primer, the base adheres smoothly and evenly. It's so hydrating that at first I wondered if it was actually working, but I felt the skin become velvety when I applied sunscreen on top.

  I didn't notice a big difference in longevity. This was my first time trying a primer, and while it felt fine initially, after about 2 hours I noticed the makeup around my nose and mouth area starting to separate. The base applies smoothly at first, but as time passes, it seems to lift. I couldn't tell much difference in lasting power between using and not using the primer.
