ConsWhen applied before makeup, it pills like dead skin cells... Not great for use under makeup. If you must use it, apply an extremely thin layer. It seemed to make my foundation look patchy.
TipWriter's skin profile: Works well with: Houttuynia cordata, Centella asiatica extract (madecassoside), panthenol, zinc. Doesn't work well with: Stearic acid, fermented ingredients, heavy pore-clogging ingredients (e.g. shea butter), possibly hyaluronic acid.

It absorbs well, making it easy to spread and apply smoothly. There's a slight alcohol scent, but it's not overpowering or irritating. When first applied, it might feel a bit sticky, but after a few seconds, it finishes without any stickiness.
ConsWhen I applied foundation over it, it really pilled like dead skin cells, so I only used it on days without makeup or mainly on the back of my neck.

With high SPF, it keeps your skin hydrated and moisturized. My husband says it's the best sunscreen he's ever used. It's essential for those who love fishing outdoors.
ConsI'm not sure why, but when applied together with aloe gel and Sidmool Rice Bran Cream, it pills and creates a white powdery residue. It's fine when I use just two of these products, but when I layer all three, it doesn't absorb well. The bottle's opening tends to get messy, so you need to clean it frequently.

I love it! Even better, I got it at a great price from Lotte Mart. It's perfect for applying all over the body.
ConsWhile it's great for the body, it tends to pill when applied on the face under makeup. The container opening gets dirty easily.
TipIt's fantastic for use on the body or when you're not wearing makeup - absorbs well without any stickiness.

Prone to small allergic blemishes and even cystic acne... Acne scars, dark spots, enlarged pores, uneven texture - I've got it all... Despite having oily, acne-prone skin and hating sunscreen, I've started using retinol, and as a late 20-something seeing the first signs of aging, I'm trying to make friends with sunscreen, searching for one that suits me better~ Due to concerns about sunscreen effectiveness, I've been looking for products from trustworthy companies. Among them, I chose one from Nivea, a brand used by many dermatologists, focusing on: 📍No mineral filters / 📍No greasiness / 📍Affordable price / 📍Good absorption / 📍Simple, gentle ingredients 🔅Overall impression & summary🔅 Highly recommended as an entry-level chemical sunscreen for those who dislike greasy, sticky sunscreens. ✅ Scent: Typical sunscreen scent.. Not too strong ✅ Application: Initially moisturizing like regular chemical sunscreens, but quickly dries to a matte finish. Feels almost like applying a primer. ✅ Oil and moisture balance: The main advantage is no greasiness or stickiness! ✅ Recommended skin type: Oily skin 📌 With oily skin, I keep my skincare routine simple (toner + essence) before applying. After a while, my cheeks feel dry, but my nose gets oily. Should be fine for hot summers. 📌 Relatively affordable. 📌 Trustworthy multinational German-made Nivea product 📌 Very portable size. 📌 No blemishes caused by this sunscreen. (Initially suspected a few times, but now realize it's not the case. Maybe my skin has adapted..) 📌 Not sure about its sun protection ability. Need to check at the beach, but haven't been.. Only using it for daily protection. 📌 For cleansing, I use lip and eye makeup remover + cleansing water.
Cons✅There's a tolerable eye stinging, not severe. (I have dry eyes and allergic conjunctivitis, so I'm more sensitive..) Bought it after reading reviews saying there's no eye stinging, but I experience it.. So I apply it thinly around the eyes and avoid the eye contour area (aegyo-sal). The stinging is worst right after application and gets better after a few hours. ✅It clumps and pills if applied too thickly. (As expected..) If you apply the three-finger amount seen on foreign Instagram (a huge amount), it cakes up. Even with light skincare for my oily skin, it feels a bit thick when applying sunscreen + makeup (when using the recommended amount). Makeup is possible without pilling if you gently pat it with a puff. ✅The package opening is.. never seen anything like it before. Usually, there's a slight protrusion for easy dispensing, but this one has a recessed structure, which gets messy.. And it dispenses way too much. When first squeezing a new tube, it comes out in a thin line, but after a few uses, if there's product residue at the opening, it comes out in a much thicker amount.. I wish this could be improved.. Nivea!! Isn't this inconvenient?! Isn't this messy?! I even started using cotton swabs to clean it before having a reality check.
Tip✅Those who've experienced eye stinging with chemical sunscreens should be careful around the eye area! ✅Be careful when squeezing, watch the opening.. It can come out suddenly.. Try to keep the opening clean. (Dried product at the opening does come off easily..) ✅Perfect sunscreen for combination-oily dads who hate sunscreen.

It's truly non-sticky, though not as powdery-soft as mineral sunscreens. The initial feeling lessens over time. Reliable sun protection you can count on. The absorbs well is nice. It's a cream, but not too rich... There's a slight alcohol scent, but it causes almost no irritation on the face (I did get some blemishes, but I'm not sure if it was because of this). It's 50ml, but the container looks a bit small at first glance. Good for carrying around though. I bought it on Coupang, but you can also find it cheaply at marts for around 7000 won. No eye stinging, but results may vary.
ConsIt pills like powder when reapplying. However, this happens with other sunscreens too, so it might not be a flaw specific to this product. Or maybe it just doesn't mesh well with my skincare routine... The opening is similar to Bioderma's Cicabio Pommade, but it's harder to control the amount. A lot comes out at once. Seeing how it washes off with water, it doesn't seem to be waterproof.
