Pros
When applied alone without makeup, it feels really light and moisturizing. Since it's Nivea, I can trust its protection capability.
Cons
It's terrible how it spreads like a mask. It's almost like a peeling gel... Putting makeup on top of this is impossible.

Pros
There was no white cast, and the volume was large enough for me to apply generously all over my body. It was more like a lotion formula than a thick sunscreen, so it was easy to apply.
Cons
When I applied it to my face and did my makeup, it would sometimes pill up like dirt. Other sunscreens don't do that, but this one did. That's why I only use it on my body now. And even when I just wore this without makeup, there were times when it would pill up. It also felt very oily.

Pros
I've found a sunscreen that I can settle on! First, I only use organic sunscreens, and when choosing a sunscreen, the order of importance for me is: eye irritation >= price = protection (sun filters) > ingredients. Since I don't wear makeup other than sunscreen and have no plans to do so in the future, sunscreen compatibility with makeup is not a consideration for me. The sunscreen doesn't cause any eye irritation. The Nivea Soothing Sensitive face sunscreen I used before caused a bit of eye irritation. So I would apply Eucerin or birch tree sunscreen only on the eye area and use the Nivea sunscreen elsewhere, which was a bit inconvenient. But this new product doesn't cause any eye irritation. However, you do need to be careful when applying it, as even a little getting into the eyes can sting a lot. So gently massage it around the eye area and dab it on. It has excellent protection. As you can see from the sun filters, it contains stronger filters than typical Korean organic sunscreens. I think this is a sunscreen that can be used worry-free even in the peak of summer. The purple circle I've marked in the attached photo indicates the maximum wavelength of UV rays that the sunscreen can block. You can see that Avène blocks up to 383nm and Nivea up to 381nm, which is excellent protection, as most European sunscreens provide good coverage up to 380nm and above. Great value. I purchased the 200ml size for around 11,000 won online. Considering the Eucerin birch tree sunscreen is around 20,000 won for 50ml, this is an excellent value. I tend to go through 50ml of sunscreen in about a week, so the cost-effectiveness is a very important factor for me. Keep an eye out for sales to get it even cheaper!

Pilling When I apply this sunscreen and then put on a mask, the sunscreen tends to pill up and come off when the mask rubs against my skin. Many other reviews also cite makeup pilling as a major downside. Shininess The photo I've attached shows the state of my skin around 3 hours after applying the sunscreen in the morning, then reapplying it at 11am and 2pm. (Please excuse my unshaven face - I've been lazy with shaving during the pandemic.) For reference, my skin type is combination with an oily T-zone. As you can see, there is a noticeable shine to my skin. The photos may not fully capture it, but in person, there is a distinct shiny, almost greasy look to my skin, like I've applied something heavy. I've only used my regular moisturizer (Dokdo Lotion) after cleansing, so this shine seems to be solely from the sunscreen.
Tip
Since the sunscreen packaging is too large to carry around and reapply, I've transferred it into a 50ml opaque container for easier use. With organic sunscreens, it's best to use an opaque container rather than a transparent one, as the ingredients can degrade when exposed to UV light. I'm a bit concerned that the shininess might be too much to handle during the peak of summer. I'll give it a try then and come back to update my review if necessary.

As a body sunscreen, this is the best: 1. Smooth application The organic UV filters allow it to glide on smoothly. 2. Fragrance-free I dislike the typical Nivea sunscreen scent, but this product is fragrance-free, which I appreciate. 3.
