I also consider sunscreen as part of my skincare routine, and I've been searching for gentle ingredients. I tried the Beauticlean product because it was said to be gentle, and the ingredients are indeed kind. It also has a slight tone-up effect that brightens the skin, which is a feature that some may like or dislike. But since I do use tone-up creams, I'm satisfied with this aspect.
ConsOne downside I can point out is the application. It's quite thick, like a typical mineral sunscreen. If you don't blend it in well, it can leave some patchiness. I think improving the formula a bit would make it even better.
TipYou need to blend it in well, and that will help minimize any patchiness.

I try to avoid products that have a lot of harmful ingredients just for the sake of good spreadability or fragrance, so I really appreciate the clean ingredients in Beauticlo. - Fragrance: Many products have a strong fragrance that hits you right away when you apply them, but I find strong fragrances uncomfortable, whether it's grapefruit or some kind of floral scent. This product doesn't have an overpowering fragrance, which I liked.
Cons- Spreadability: It's a bit thick. I've been using smooth sunscreen lotions lately, so maybe that's why I found this Beauticlo sunscreen product a bit thick. The thicker texture made it take longer to apply in the mornings. - White cast: There is a white cast. You need to apply it carefully and pat it in or give it some time for the white cast to go away. The white cast does improve over time, but it doesn't disappear within a few minutes, so you need to be mindful of how much you apply.
Tip- Since it's a bit thick and has a slight white cast, I'd recommend building a well-hydrated base first, then applying the product in small, careful amounts.

It's impressive that a sunscreen can be this mild.
ConsThe application was extremely poor. The white cast was severe, making me look like I was wearing a white mask. No matter how much I rubbed it in, the artificial-looking color remained. And it's incredibly thick and sticky...

ConsUsing a sample may not be accurate. The oil content is extremely high, and the application is thick and sticky. There is also a significant amount of white cast. Personally, the feel is similar to the Dr. Troub sunscreen - it feels heavy and leaves a white cast. Because it is so greasy and leaves a white cast, my skin has some unevenness, so I had to use a cushion foundation in addition to the sunscreen...^^ It should only be used in the winter. It's too much of a burden to use in the summer.

This could be because the ingredients are gentle, but even in the scorching summer heat when my skin would normally feel flushed, it didn't get irritated. It felt like a soothing sunscreen, which I really liked. And it also had a skin-tone-up effect, so I could use it instead of a makeup base. Some people may find it a bit whitening, but it faded away quickly when I patted it in, so the tone-up effect was just right for me. And since you only need to use a little, I was able to make it last longer, which I really appreciated. My skin is thin and sensitive, so using sunscreen is really crucial for me, and I'm very satisfied with this product.
ConsThere's a slight thick, creamy texture when applying, but I was told this is due to the mineral UV protection, so it's okay. The product is meant to be patted on, not rubbed, so when I apply it that way, the thick texture doesn't bother me. I've heard that sunscreens that apply smoothly often contain mineral oils or silicones, so I actually feel more reassured by the slightly thicker texture, as it seems more natural.
TipI use a cushion compact, so when applying the sunscreen, I pat it on with the cushion puff to distribute it evenly.

ConsIt claims to be non-whitening and brightening, but it's just whitening. I absolutely can't apply the right amount. The whitening effect also gets worse, and due to the mineral sunscreen properties, even though the application is smooth, there is still some chalkiness. Whether you pat it on or spread it, if you apply the right amount, it seems difficult to reapply in the winter. It becomes drying, and even after exfoliating the flakes (especially on the nose) and mixing it with lotion, the application is just so-so, and there's a lifting phenomenon..ㅜㅜ
TipThose who apply sunscreen in the right amount or similar amounts should think about it..

There are no '-cone, -sane' ingredients in the sunscreen either, haha. It doesn't burden the skin. There is a slightly gritty feeling after application, but it's not uncomfortable. If I apply the sunscreen incorrectly, my skin immediately breaks out and I either get terrible blemishes or become too dry and turn into a pimple witch, one of the two.. ㅜㅜ Also, my skin is very sensitive to cosmetics, so I'm really afraid to use sunscreen, especially. But I've been using it without any major issues so far. I tried the sample and it was fine, so I bought one and have been using it. They say that an SPF50 sunscreen can actually be more irritating for sensitive skin like mine, so I'm glad the SPF29 one works for me. They say the difference in protection between high and low SPF isn't that significant, although the durability may be a bit shorter.. But since I apply makeup on top, it's actually less burdensome. The sunscreen isn't overly oily, but it's not extremely drying either. Overall, it's gentle and not burdensome. I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it's decent. ^^ The ad says it's a non-whitening sunscreen, but there is some whitening. It's not too much, and it fades a bit after application. I actually like the slight whitening effect as it helps even out my skin tone, so it's not a problem for me. It's not a shiny, glaring whiteness either, so it's not burdensome.
ConsAs I mentioned before, it's not completely non-whitening as advertised, so those who dislike whitening should take note (I personally like it though, haha). In terms of application, it's a bit thick and sticky, so I find it's easier to apply it thinly in multiple areas and then pat it in with my hands. Rubbing it on can lead to wrinkles later on, haha. Since it's made with gentle ingredients, it's not overly drying, but the moisture level isn't as good as the product description claims either. So there's a slightly gritty feeling after application, as I mentioned before. Those with dry skin may find it a bit drying. I have combination/dry skin, and while I didn't experience severe tightness, I did feel it getting a bit drier over time. I may need to consider that more in the winter. That's the only slight downside I've noticed so far. Otherwise, it hasn't caused any irritation or breakouts on my sensitive skin, so I've been continuing to use it. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
TipAh, that's a great tip! Applying the sunscreen right after your moisturizer seems to improve the application smoothness. And patting it on gently rather than rubbing seems to work well too. Thanks for sharing those helpful application tips!
