Hmm... I don't feel it removes blackheads as effectively as other cleansing oils. It's cheap, but I probably won't repurchase. Overall, I think The Face Shop products just don't agree with my skin. Even their famous makeup base caused blemishes for me...

The product feels great. It's like my skin is refreshingly cleansed and washed away. Among the oils I've used, this one feels like it cleanses the best! The scent also gives a healthy, revitalizing feeling.
Cons
I used this based on a YouTuber's recommendation and because they said it was gentle, but now I have boils coming up from deep within. I persisted and used it for 3 days, and my skin became completely bumpy and turned upside down. My skin was normally sensitive but never had any acne, and now it's become extremely problematic. I stopped using it again and my skin has calmed down, but it was really terrible.

First, let me tell you about my skin type. I have dry skin, and my T-zone area is a bit oily. I also have some small pimples on my forehead and some blackheads on my nose, but my skin is not overly sensitive. I hadn't been using a cleansing oil for a while, but as my blackheads had increased significantly, I wanted to use one to remove them. Luckily, I had this product at home, so I started using it! (I usually remove my makeup with cleansing water rather than oil, so I only used this product to remove blackheads...) The overall advantage and what I liked the most was that it effectively extracted the sebum. For the first week or so, it didn't feel like it was extracting much, but as I continued using it, I noticed it was actually removing the sebum quite well. It melted nicely, which I really liked! Personally, I felt the emulsification process worked well. (This might be because I was using a cleansing oil for the first time and wasn't familiar with the emulsification process.) I also didn't feel overly dry even after double cleansing.
Cons
From reading other people's reviews, I saw that some had developed acne or skin troubles after using this product. I experienced something similar - I had no small pimples on my T-zone before, but they started appearing, and a large one developed on my right side, which took me about 3-4 weeks to get rid of.
Tip
In that first week of trying to remove the blackheads with the cleansing oil, I used it every day and double cleansed thoroughly to ensure no residue was left, followed by my usual skincare routine and a hydrating cream for my nose area. From the second week, I started using it every other day in the same manner. At first, it didn't seem to be removing the blackheads effectively, but over time, I noticed they were becoming lighter!

It still does a pretty good job of removing sebum! When I rub it, the blackheads seem to come out quite well. I've tried several other cleansing oils, but this one seems to work quite well.
Cons
The fragrance is too strong 😭 After continuous rubbing, the fragrance becomes really overpowering and I have to stop.. Last time, I had a major breakout 😭 I thought I was cleansing thoroughly, but there must have been some residue left, and I had to go to a dermatologist for almost two months. The emulsification doesn't work well 😭 It does emulsify, but it's incredibly heavy and slippery 😭 Other oil products emulsify quickly and rinse off without leaving a greasy feeling, but this one doesn't.
