As someone who became addicted to the Hug scent and eagerly awaited its restock, I was constantly checking the official website. The moment it came back, I immediately purchased it, and when it went on a 50% sale recently, I was bewitched into buying more... Now I have it everywhere - at home, at work, you name it. Truthfully, the scent fades rather quickly, but that subtle fragrance right after spraying is absolutely divine. I usually can't stand floral or musky scents that make me nauseous, but this one is different. It's a delicate blend of floral with a hint of fruit that doesn't overwhelm. I can bury my nose in it and take deep whiffs without any discomfort. I'm using the hand cream and body cream too, and they work wonderfully together for a synergistic effect.
I was shocked when I checked the ingredients after the reformulation! 8 red flag ingredients added, oh no! It seems they've included a bunch of potential allergens commonly found in perfumes. Originally, this was one of the very few fragrances with no allergens in the ingredients list, smelling great with the best formulation. It's so disappointing that they could change it like this after the reformulation! As for the packaging, honestly, the previous design was more simple and was like the original style of niche perfumes. The new one isn't bad, but it feels a bit too pink-centric now. Dear Manyo Factory, I've seen quite a few opinions like mine. If possible, it would be great if you could go back to the pre-reformulation version. If not the packaging, at least the ingredients please! It's great that you're using top models for advertising and changing packaging these days, but to keep your existing customers happy, you should maintain the excellent ingredients and extreme value for money you were known for. Remember when none of your products had any red flag ingredients on Hwahae?
Highly recommended for those who dislike strong, nauseating scents but still want a subtle fragrance. However, due to the ingredient changes, it's best to spray it on clothes. Personally, I find the hand cream truly captures the Hug scent perfectly. I strongly suggest using them together.
