It's a moisturizing and bouncy transparent gel cleanser. There are gel types that are runny, and others where the particles stick together well. This one has particles that bond nicely, giving it a bouncy texture. Even when lathered, it feels cohesive, so despite being a gel type, it provides a very focused cleansing experience. (The photo shows it a bit diluted due to water on my hands.) Gel cleansers are generally gentle, and this one is no exception. It's so mild that I could use it without any skin damage. As someone with dry skin, I used it for morning cleansing and found that it didn't leave my skin feeling tight afterwards. Instead, I could feel the hydration.
The downside is the price. I received it as a gift and enjoyed using it, but if money is tight, I'd probably opt for a more affordable product. However, if this product becomes available again, I'm ready to switch to it, putting aside other options.
