(My skin is slightly lighter than shade 21, with some days having intense redness and others appearing very yellow and pale.) Pros: - Applies sheer and thin, with just a little product on the brush. - A beautiful pink that's subdued yet lively, suitable for everyone. - No excess powder fallout at all. - Doesn't dry out the cheeks. - Adheres well without feeling heavy or floating on the skin. - Almost no shimmer. (Better than Cheek Pop in this aspect!) Additional pros: - Doesn't transfer to masks. - No darkening, so you won't look like a burning sweet potato even with flushed cheeks. - Huge amount of product + firm texture means it lasts forever. - Easy to control the amount. Even if you swirl your brush vigorously, it picks up just the right amount! - If you've struggled with chalky powder blushes clumping up, try this instead of Cheek Pop... It's truly a game-changer!
ConsCon (Updated): After using it for a while, the scent has mostly dissipated. You can't smell it unless you put your nose right up to it. The only drawback has disappeared! --- Below is the content before the update --- While it's good that there are no added fragrances, the scent of the raw ingredients is a bit odd. It has a fishy, oily smell. I'm not sure if this is how shea butter normally smells, as I haven't used shea butter products before. (Still, I applaud them for not adding artificial fragrances that can cause headaches!)
TipRecommended for those who want something similar to Cheek Pop but without the shimmer and with a similar feel (sheer color, non-drying). The photos show Ballerina Pop - Buttery No.1 - Nude Pop.

The base color is nice, and while it looks quite dull when swatched on the wrist, it looks pretty good when applied to the face, perhaps due to the formula. It gives a warm pink feeling. I also loved the generous amount and the aesthetically pleasing packaging design.
ConsI think it's just with shade #1, but the smell is really... a bit off. It has a factory-like scent, and I hope Skinfood would fix this issue.
TipIt's best to apply it using a puff.

I've bought blushes before that ended up being too pigmented for me, but I'm so satisfied with this one! There seems to be a slight shimmer, but it's barely noticeable. In person, you can't really see it, and when applied, you'd have to look very closely to detect just a hint of sparkle.
ConsNo downsides so far. When applying with fingers, the formula feels a bit stiff and coats the skin, so using a brush is better.
TipYou can apply it freely with a brush and the color payoff remains natural. Just apply comfortably, and if you need more, you can always add another layer!

It applies thinly and transparently, like being washed with water, and the unique light and clear application is implemented in a powdery formula, giving the appearance of the cream blush coming from within the skin. ❣️ Regarding the personal color of the Hwahae Trial Reviewer: For my light-toned skin, the single application was just right and calm, but the more I built it up, the darker the face color became, so please keep that in mind. 👍 Toned-down clear pink tone: The warm muted pink has some chroma when swatched on the back of the hand, but the chroma decreases when applied to the face. ✔️ The more you layer it, the more muted and slightly darker it becomes.✔️ The inherent clear color tone is undeniable, and it applies thinly and transparently, like being washed with watercolor. 👍 Sheer application of the baked formula and generous volume: It achieves a natural and light application that seems to come from within the skin, with a powdery formula. As a baked blush, it is soft, firm, and has a relatively sheer application. ✔️ The sheer application is not seen as a downside, but a feature, because it is 'sheer application' rather than 'weak application', and you can gradually build it up to the desired intensity.✔️ The application is not so weak that it becomes stuffy. The volume is also quite generous at 9.5g. 👍 Comparable to the famous baked blush Clinique Cheek Pop: Cheek Pop is loved for its unique transparent, stained-like application, which is very similar to the buttery cheek. But when compared below, while the clear application is a common point, there are subtle differences between the two. ➖ 📍 Personal final evaluation: I think radiant colors work best with the clear, stained-like application, and while the toned-down color is pretty, if there was a more radiant color, it could have been on par with Clinique. But the muted, toned-down pink tone is a rare clear feeling, so it would be good to apply it when you want a calm, composed look.
Cons👎 Peculiar scent lingers: Likely due to the real butter content, it has a unique fragrance. It's not a typical cosmetic scent, and it's not overpowering, but those sensitive to scents should take note. 👎 Mixed opinions on the generous volume: The unfamiliar 9.5g volume may raise concerns about product shelf life, so people may have mixed opinions on it. Personally, I'm in favor of it. 👎 Mixed opinions on the sheer application and need for tools: The sheer application can feel a bit stuffy, and as a baked formula, using the right tools like a sponge or brush is important for proper control.
Tip✏️ Comparison of the clear application, baked formula, and similar Clinique Cheek Pop Ballerina Pop: ✔️ Color difference Ballerina Pop 👉 Bright, vivid light pink. Berry & Cream 👉 Toned-down, muted pink, so color comparison is not very meaningful. ✔️ Both have a clear application and baked formula, but subtle differences: Ballerina Pop 👉 Dewy feel with shimmer, clear application. Berry & Cream 👉 Soft-focus, no shimmer, applies like a stain that stays on the skin. Clinique's blush tends to disappear when rubbed, but the Buttery Cheek feels like it sinks into the skin like a stain. The clear, luminous effect on the face is similar. *Ballerina Pop is similar to the actual product, while Buttery is brighter and more pink.*
