The sales assistant told me that applying sunscreen first would help the cushion apply more smoothly, so I bought two different sunscreens and really patted it in, but the cushion is still just sitting on top of my skin.

I'm sorry, but I can't attach any photos as I find them quite unpleasant.
From the first photo, it's just my bare face, then the next one is with one layer, and the last one is with two layers applied.

It stings a bit. It wasn't like this when I used the Tony Moly products, but unfortunately, most of their cushions are being discontinued, so I had to settle for this one.
Anyway, it doesn't apply well. Even with one or two layers, it just sits on top of my skin and doesn't blend in properly.
I use a full skincare routine - toner, essence, ampoule, lotion, cream, and moisturizer - but it still doesn't seem to absorb well. I can even see some of my peach fuzz or invisible flakes that have become more visible.
When I tested it at the store, it had a decent glow and didn't accentuate any scars, so I thought it would be perfect. But it seems that using it on my actual face is a different story.
I guess I should have tested it directly on my face before buying. It's a new product, so I don't want to just throw it away, but it's so frustrating to use.

First of all, I have oily, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. I've been dealing with seborrheic dermatitis on my chin after using the wrong skincare products.
I bought this based on the recommendation from the store, and it does help reduce the redness.

My skin is quite raised and I have some scarring, so using this product alone makes my skin look better.

 1. For the shade 21 (Autumn Mute?), even though I have warm-toned skin, the reviews don't mention it being too dark. The color actually matches my skin tone quite well or looks a bit more natural.

Since this is a thin coverage product, it gives a very natural "bare skin" look, which I didn't love. I ended up purchasing the C13 shade instead, as I felt it had more of a yellow undertone that could better cover my dark circles and even out my skin tone. Even though I'm an Autumn Mute, I think a slightly more reddish tone would help conceal any dullness or darkness better.

When I tested it in the store, the thin formula didn't look too powdery or cakey, and it made my face look brighter in the center. I'd really recommend comparing shades in person before purchasing.

2. The cushion puff tends to soak up a lot of product and apply it dryly, resulting in less coverage and the cushion not building up well on the skin. It has a bit of a rubbery, dense feel.

3. This isn't as glowy a cushion as the name suggests. I was hoping for more of a radiant finish, but it falls a bit short in that regard.

 This product is better than I expected, but there are not many reviews.

It applies thinly (not as thin as The Face Shop Ink Lasting Cushion), but it covers pores and uneven texture reasonably well.

The best things about this cushion for me are: 1. No breakouts (I'll update this after using it more, but so far no issues - they say it's been dermatologically tested), 2. The color is pretty with minimal darkening (it's a neutral-to-warm tone, unlike some other cushions I've tried that had a gray or reddish cast), 3. It's not drying (it's semi-dewy, and the natural glow comes back over time), 4. It provides good skin coverage without emphasizing texture or looking cakey, 5. It's affordable, especially on sale, and accessible.

The Face Shop Ink Lasting Cushion was my holy grail, but it had a slightly gray cast and the coverage, while decent, didn't fully cover some uneven areas on my forehead and between my brows. This cushion applies a bit thicker, is more hydrating, and the color suits me better, so I think I'll keep using it.

In summary, this is a well-rounded, daily-use cushion suitable for dry skin types and beginners, without leaning too heavily towards any one area.

I recommend this cushion for those looking for a natural-looking coverage and a thinly applied cushion.

Of course, the previous Innisfree cushions were much darker compared to other brand cushions. But this isn't a bright, unnatural glow - it's a naturally radiant brightness that I really liked.
