As the name 'water ampoule' suggests, it's a lightweight ampoule that's perfect for daily use. I found myself reaching for it often. The texture is water-based, but not extremely light. It's more like a slightly richer essence ampoule, which I personally preferred. It absorbs well without being sticky, and provides good hydration without feeling heavy. It's great to use before makeup or in the evening, making it truly versatile. I enjoyed using it every day. With its great ingredients, generous amount, and hygienic pump bottle, it's a water ampoule I'd highly recommend. I even finished the whole bottle! While it's a great product, the limited availability is a downside. The product itself is really quite good. For busy mornings, I'd just apply this water ampoule lightly before makeup. In the evenings, using the water ampoule along with a cream provides excellent hydration and works well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 26, 2021
It tackled my deep dryness! I also noticed fewer problematic blemishes. Sometimes I get small whiteheads. It might feel a bit heavy during summer! - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 28, 2020
First off, this ampoule is absolutely stunning and beautiful! It's so ethereal looking! After application, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry, nor does it feel sticky. Instead, it provides just the right amount of hydration! The packaging is also super convenient with its pump dispenser. For an ampoule, it's quite generous in quantity and has a nice fluid consistency, making it perfect to use as a toner substitute. It's fantastic for use throughout all four seasons, from spring to winter! If your skin feels particularly dry, you can always layer it on for extra moisture. I can't think of any downsides while using this product! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2020
I have oily skin that lacks hydration! Hydration: When used alone, the initial feeling was pleasantly moisturizing, but after a few minutes, it felt just average. My face didn't feel tight, but it wasn't super hydrated either. I didn't feel like the hydration lasted exceptionally long. For those with dry skin, I definitely recommend applying this after your toner or layering a cream on top of it! Scent: It has a slightly cool peach scent...? Anyway, it was a fragrance I'd never encountered before! It's not overpowering and seems to be the natural scent of the serum, so it wasn't particularly bothersome. Texture: The texture is watery and flows easily - at first, I thought it was just a regular toner! You can simply pat it onto your face. Packaging: The serum looks like it might have little particles inside, but when you apply it, it's just like water! The pump dispenser makes it fun to use as much as you want. There aren't really any downsides! This serum really shows that it's perfect for summer! For a serum, it's not highly concentrated - it feels more like a regular hydrating toner. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAug 18, 2020
I thought it would be a viscous formula since it's called an ampoule, but it's actually a water-like texture. Thanks to this, it absorbs easily and doesn't feel heavy even when layered multiple times. The hydration is sufficient, and it balances both moisture and oil perfectly. These days, using this alone is enough for me. It has a subtle peach scent which I really love. The packaging is also beautiful. I highly recommend it! Honestly, I'm completely satisfied, so there are no drawbacks. If I had to mention something, maybe it's that the discount isn't big since it's a new product? I will definitely repurchase. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 13, 2020
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I sometimes experience deep dryness even in summer after cleansing! That's why I tend to focus on hydrating products, and Labiotte's Water Ampoule seems like a great value water essence to me. The texture is a runny water type! Although it's an ampoule, it's not thick at all. I'm using it as a booster since it contains hyaluronic acid for hydration and even probiotics. Despite being thin, it provides good moisture. I'm very satisfied with the ingredients as there's nothing harmful in it. It's gentle, so I think even those with super sensitive skin could use it comfortably! It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, but the moisturizing effect lasts for a long time. Sometimes I even skip my emulsion and just apply this after cleansing. I didn't find any major drawbacks - I'm really enjoying using it! It's a water essence that works as a booster, so I keep it in the bathroom and apply it right after cleansing for an instant hydration boost. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 27, 2020
This ampoule feels more like a toner! I was pleasantly surprised to find it has a pump dispenser instead of the typical toner-like opening, which makes it incredibly convenient to use. The bottle design is also quite attractive! Despite being an ampoule, the texture isn't thick or sticky. It's quite fluid and absorbs quickly into the skin! The consistency is similar to a runny toner, so you could even use it as one if you'd like. After application, my skin felt hydrated without any dryness or tightness. I found that layering it twice made my skin even more moisturized. Looking closely at the product, you can see tiny particles in it (though I'm not sure what their specific function is... perhaps they provide extra hydration?). The fragrance is subtly sweet and pleasant, making the application process enjoyable. Above all, I appreciate that it's formulated with gentle ingredients, which gives me peace of mind when using it. While it does contain alcohol, it's listed towards the end of the ingredient list, so it seems okay to use. I'll need to use it longer to see if it causes any blemishes. As I have sensitive skin, the alcohol content made my lips and eye area feel a bit of a burning sensation. However, applying a moisturizer afterwards helped alleviate this discomfort. The ampoule isn't extremely moisturizing on its own, so you might want to layer it or follow up with a more hydrating product to prevent any dryness or tightness! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 13, 2020
First off, I was impressed by how meticulously packaged it was. My skin type is combination-dry with a tendency towards deep dryness. I used it like a toner, applying it right after cleansing. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly - I found that patting it in 2-3 times left my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated. However, a single application might not be enough for very dry skin, so layering is recommended. Following up with a rich essence or a light moisturizer really helped combat that deep dryness and left my skin feeling plump and hydrated. My makeup even applied better as a result! If you use a cotton pad to apply it 2-3 times, the product gets used up quite quickly. The price can be a bit steep when it's not on sale. I highly recommend applying it with your hands! Since it has a lightweight, fluid texture, using your hands like you would with a serum seems to be more effective than using a cotton pad. This method also ensures less product waste and better absorption into the skin!
