Overall, it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and nice after application. I'm satisfied with the large volume too! I occasionally buy it when it's on sale. After applying and letting it absorb, I feel like there might be a bit of deep dryness? It's convenient to pour a whole bottle into a skin pad container and use one sheet at a time. You can even use it for spot treatments! - nh*****Dry SkinNov 3, 2023
An affordable large-volume toner. The bottle is pretty and convenient for everyday use. My skin tends to be dry, and I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but my skin has become rough and I keep getting blemishes on my face. - na*****Combination SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityAug 7, 2023
I first experienced the Graymelin brand with their 'Tone-Up Booster', and after using several bottles of that, trying their Rose Toner, I moved on to this product. Before this, I used the Keep Cool Bamboo Toner and was satisfied with its hydrating effect, but after two bottles, I wanted to try something new. Although there weren't many reviews, I had some expectations for its 'red' anti-aging effects. It seems to meet the basic requirements for a toner, providing hydration and a slight slip that helps lock in moisture. My initial impression was that it lacked hydration and slip, making me wonder if I'd made a mistake, but it turns out to be decent. My skin type: Oily when younger, gradually becoming dry-combination. I need products with firming and wrinkle-improving functions. Also, this product doesn't apply with a red color on the face. Recommended for: Up to oily skin types in their 20s. However, to be honest, it falls short of the Keep Cool Bamboo Toner's hydrating power (which wasn't extraordinary either). It made me appreciate the Bamboo Toner more. The anti-aging implications and 'red' claims should probably be removed from the marketing. It's such a light toner... It's moderately usable, but I probably won't repurchase. In the future, if I'm unsure about a product even after reading reviews, I should probably pass on it. - 10****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 1, 2023
I've been consistently using the Gray Merlin toner because it's gentle, comes in a large size, and is reasonably priced. The generous volume is enough for my whole family to use and enjoy. Overall, it's a great exfoliating toner with a water-like texture that feels like it's 99% hydration. There's a slight hint of richness, which seems to balance the oil and moisture perfectly, making it even better. Although it uses natural pigments, the color is a bit more intense compared to other Gray Merlin toners like the green or yellow versions. While it doesn't stain, I sometimes wonder if it leaves a subtle residue on the skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 18, 2022
My skin feels incredibly hydrated. I really like it! Highly recommended. The scent wasn't my style... but that's just personal preference. - 75****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2022
The large size is great for using generously. It has a refreshing feel. It has a very watery texture, but occasionally there are small particles that come out. - ch*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 24, 2021
The ingredients are gentle and didn't cause any blemishes, even on my sensitive skin. The scent is slightly sweet and tangy. It absorbs well into the skin. Great value for money. It's a large size, so even with generous use, it feels like there's always plenty left. I didn't notice any particular effects on elasticity or wrinkles. I used this along with the serum from the same line, and I think my skin condition was pretty good. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2021
Everything about it is great. The color is so beautiful, it lifts my mood every time I use it. I also love that it has clean ingredients with only one potential allergen. I've been using it as an exfoliating toner 5-6 times a day, and my skin feels so much firmer. There's nothing bad to say. If I had to nitpick, I'd say please remove that one potential allergen. Create a perfectly clean ingredient list for us. Here's a skincare tip for the lazy: Use the Red Food toner as an exfoliating toner 5-6 times a day (every three hours). This way, you can have clean, hydrated, and firm skin even without washing your face. - jy*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2020
This product is a real bargain! It's funny how some people think everything is artificial coloring when it's not. Did you actually check the ingredients before buying? Try steeping some hibiscus tea - it looks exactly the same. Please make sure to share accurate information in your reviews. There's nothing to be disappointed about, really. After all, we don't usually expect toners to perform miracles, do we? - ha******Oily SkinAcne SkinOct 14, 2020
It has a fruity scent and a unique color. Even the cotton pad turns red when you use it! The generous volume means you can use it liberally. It's supposed to help with skin elasticity, but I'm not really sure about that. I'm just planning to use it as a regular exfoliating toner.
