As someone with an oily scalp, I gave it a try. In summer, I tend to sweat a lot, produce excess oil, and my hair gets greasy easily. Using this is definitely better than not using anything at all. While it doesn't keep my hair fresh all day long, it does seem to reduce oiliness. It feels incredibly refreshing when applied, which is great. I think it might also help cool down the scalp. It has a softening effect on the hair, leaving it silky after rinsing. Previously, a hair vinegar rinse was enough for me, but since I recently got a perm, I feel like I need a treatment as well.
ConsWhen spraying it on the scalp while showering, it can be irritating if it runs down and touches your face. You need to be especially careful not to get it in your eyes. Also, since it's a liquid, if you spray generously, it runs out quickly! While the price is reasonable, it doesn't last very long.
TipFor better results, spray the hair vinegar after rinsing out your shampoo and wait a moment. Even if you rinse it off with slightly cool water, it feels incredibly refreshing, almost like using cold water.

It's a summer must-have! Thanks to the cooling effect, I experienced less itching, and no blemishes appeared during use. Although I bought it for my scalp, it seems to have improved my hair texture as well.
ConsThe watery consistency means it gets used up quickly. I wish they sold refills. When rinsing, it runs down and ends up cleansing my face too.

The consistency is quite thin.
ConsWhen it touches your face, it causes a burning sensation. It's so runny that it drips off.

When I searched for hair vinegar on Hwahae, this product came up first, so I decided to buy it. To be honest, I didn't have any major scalp issues, and it's hard to see the effects in an area that's difficult to observe. However, there are two noticeable benefits: 1. The mint scent makes my scalp feel incredibly refreshing. Though after using it several times, I've gotten used to it, so it's not quite the same 'wow' factor as the first time. It seems to help cool down the scalp. 2. My hair feels softer even without using conditioner! I now understand why people used to use vinegar instead of conditioner in the past. No need for conditioner anymore! Plus, the narrow opening makes it easy to control the amount, which is very convenient to use.
ConsWhile the mint scent makes my head feel cool, it's also incredibly strong. Even if it just runs down near my temples, my eyes start to burn. I'm worried that if it accidentally gets into my eyes, it could be really dangerous!

It feels refreshing, and I get the sense that it cleanses well.
ConsIt's a bit runny, so it's hard to gauge the right amount. But that's okay.

At first, you don't feel much, but after a short while, you get this cool, tingly sensation - that's the perfect time to rinse. While it may not have dramatic effects, it does help a bit with scalp odor. Overall, I'm satisfied with how refreshing it feels!
ConsI didn't experience any blemishes, but I was careful not to let it drip onto my face as it can be quite strong and potentially irritating.

The narrow nozzle makes it easy to spray.
ConsIf it runs down your face, it might feel a bit irritating because it's Hwahae.

While my hair doesn't get greasy easily, I think my scalp tends to be oily. If I skip washing for just one day... my scalp quickly becomes itchy or develops issues, so I need to at least wet my hair with water even if I'm not using shampoo. When I couldn't wash my hair for a day, it never felt truly clean even after washing, so that's why I decided to purchase this. The mint scent is quite strong, but I think it should be fine for most people, except those who absolutely can't stand even the slightest whiff of mint! The cooling effect was quite intense. To be honest, I didn't really consider the cooling effect when buying it - I just thought I'd give it a try since it's summer. But I'm so satisfied! The cooling effect is really strong and seems to last for about 30 minutes. It's game over for mint hair vinegar + cold water rinses~~~~~ Also, it's used as a water rinse concept. After shampooing and rinsing, you spray it onto your scalp, massage it in, and then rinse again. When you do this, your hair becomes slightly softer and more manageable.
ConsThe downside is that it has a pure water consistency with no viscosity, so if you're not careful, it can all run off quickly. It's a waste, so be careful! However, the nozzle is narrow, making it easy to aim, and despite its water-like consistency, it's easy to control the amount you use! Also, because the cooling effect is quite strong, if you accidentally spray it around your eyes, it really stings........... I was really surprised,,, It's not exactly painful, but it's like that chilly feeling you get when you're constantly exposed to wind?? Be careful!
TipI especially recommend this for people who wash their hair in the morning during summer. It can really help you wake up when you're just opening your eyes and getting ready, and you'll feel refreshed as you head out!
