[Last dye job]
11/19/23, used Hello Cream Tone Down Mystic Black
[Hair length]
Front - Just below ribcage, upper abdomen start, Back - Right above sacrum
[Hair volume]
Super abundant!!! Hagrid-level fullness
※As ash color wasn't the goal, proceeded without bleaching※
※If aiming for ash color, bleaching before dyeing is recommended※
·Hair started visibly lightening midway through applying the dye, indicating quick absorption
·The runny consistency made control slightly challenging for long hair, but was relatively convenient
·No harsh chemical smell typical of hair dyes
·No color transfer to clothes or pillowcases
·Minimal eye irritation or stinging when dyeing eyebrows
Extra info) Right after shampooing, I was shocked to see orange hair in the mirror
But today, 10 days post-dye, the orange hue has mostly faded
It's now a fairly dark brown with a slight golden tint
Cons·Hair becomes extremely stiff after dyeing
Slightly disappointing that a separate treatment isn't included
·Scalp felt dry for a few days post-dye, requiring additional care
TipIf you shampoo alone, hair will be very stiff and rough
Make sure to use conditioner or a treatment
For those with curly or wavy hair like me, applying a hair essence is a must!
