It's not sticky and feels refreshing. I haven't experienced any blemishes, so I've been using it year-round and I'm on my third bottle. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I enjoy it so much that I wish it came in a larger size. - gy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 8, 2023
Great for daily use! It's so gentle that long-term use will likely improve your skin condition significantly. There's not really anything to complain about. If you don't have problematic skin with blemishes or dark spots, using such a gentle product for hydration could be ideal. I often use toners as exfoliating toners or layer them multiple times. However, this product seems a bit too mild for those methods. It's just perfect for applying twice in a row though! - sy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2023
This toner has a slightly milky appearance and can be used as an exfoliating toner or absorbed with cotton pads, depending on your preference. Personally, I recommend using it with cotton pads. When layered more than twice, it provides noticeable hydration. For my combination dehydrated skin, one layer as an exfoliating toner or one layer followed by absorption with a cotton pad worked best, except during dry seasons. The advantage of Celinic products seems to be that they're gentle and suitable for most skin types without causing blemishes. It's not a mind-blowing holy grail product, but rather one that you can use comfortably without any issues. - ha*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 9, 2023
The subtle fragrance makes application a pleasant experience. The thick white texture gives a satisfying feel as you apply it. It's excellent at calming and smoothing the skin texture. The consistency is a bit too thick for use with cotton pads, so you need to pat it in with your hands. This tends to make you use more product than necessary. Store in the refrigerator for best results. Not recommended for use with cotton pads. - se*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedFeb 15, 2023
It absorbs quickly and applies smoothly! Plus, it gives a refreshing sensation when applied to the face. When applied to skin prone to flushing, it feels a bit sticky, and it stung slightly on acne-prone skin! I recommend this when you want to make your skin feel firm and bouncy! - kr******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 26, 2022
In my opinion, it's quite hydrating. Given that it's a toner with probiotics from Scinic, known for their First Essence, I had high expectations. I used to love their discontinued All Day Toner, so I bought this with confidence. While it's not a runny consistency, it's more moisturizing than your average toner. I found it particularly useful after exfoliating when I wanted to avoid irritation. It doesn't help with dead skin cells at all. I don't have this issue with pore toners or pad types, but when I use this on a cotton pad, it causes flaking around my nose and doesn't clear up the sides of my nose - there's still white residue. A moisturizing toner shouldn't show flaking, but while this is hydrating, it seems to trigger nose flaking. It's similar to when I use a very low pH foam cleanser - due to my skin type, it doesn't cleanse thoroughly, leaving residue around my nose. I ended up tossing this and sticking to a pore toner. I'm baffled as to why a hydrating product would cause flaking. It doesn't make sense to me! Try using it as a mask by soaking a cotton pad. I noticed a nice glow when I applied it over a BHA serum. - ha***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 17, 2021
I really liked that it was fragrance-free. The matte finish after application was quite appealing. I had to apply the toner twice to reduce the feeling of tightness. If your skin is in poor condition or feels very tight after cleansing, you'll need to apply it twice to achieve a more hydrated feeling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2021
It has a gentle and clean feel. It's light and good for use as a toner. It's a bit too ordinary, I'd say. The hydration is somewhat lacking. Still, it's decent for light use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 25, 2020
I tried a water-based toner after a long time and thought it would be drying, but it's not drying at all. Unlike runny toners, it's not sticky and applies smoothly while keeping the skin hydrated! It's also fragrance-free and non-irritating, which is great. They say it's good for skin balance and barrier due to its slightly acidic nature, and I've noticed my troubled skin has cleared up significantly and my complexion has brightened. While it doesn't give a super shiny finish, it definitely doesn't leave the skin feeling dry. There's not much to complain about. It would be nice if it came in a larger size. The price is excellent. Make sure to grab it when it's on sale. - gk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 13, 2020
With all the external stressors these days, I'm constantly spritzing this as a mist. Though it's a water-based toner, it doesn't just evaporate into the air but clings nicely to the skin. In my opinion, this toner really shines when applying sunscreen cushion. In this heat, when makeup and sunscreen tend to melt away with sweat, I first wipe off the sweat, spray this toner from a mist bottle, apply sunscreen cushion, and finish with another spritz. It applies smoothly without pilling. Also, frequent application keeps dryness at bay. While I use the Daily Toner as a first essence and this one solely as a mist, I highly recommend the Daily Toner too. While it's not sticky after use, it doesn't evaporate quickly like typical water-based toners, so it might not feel refreshing for oily skin. It leaves a slightly rich finish. After trying both the toner and ampoule, I honestly think they might be a bit heavy for oily skin, except perhaps in the dead of winter. Also, I wish they'd offer a larger size. Using it as a mist throughout the day, 150ml runs out really quickly. I hope they'll release a larger size for this line, like they did with the Simple Toner.
