Even though it's marketed as cool-toned, I was a bit disappointed that some shades still had a slight yellow undertone.

After using only Too Cool for School, I found this mini palette hoping to reduce yellow and red undertones. I've been using it consistently ever since, but now I hear it's being discontinued! I only just found out when I came to write this review. Here's what I love about it:
• The shadow colors are incredibly natural-looking
• Unlike Too Cool where I only used certain shades, I've hit pan on every color in this palette
• The powder is so finely milled, there's no clumping at all
• It doesn't look cakey even with multiple layers
It's hard to put into words... it's just an all-around great product that's difficult to break down into specific pros

The contour powder inside breaks easily too! The case is so delicate that it's difficult to carry around. In my personal opinion, there's no real need for it to come in three colors. While it's not terrible, if even a small dent forms, it's 100% more likely to break compared to other contours. I initially bought it partly because of the pretty case, but I became anxious about using it frequently. Now I've switched to a different contour. I probably won't buy it again in the future.

I had high hopes when I bought it, but for my fair skin (around shade 17-19), while it's a shadow color that removes redness for a cool-toned contour, the cool brown shade is a bit too intense for me to use as a contour! When I purchased it, it came as part of a Lohb's special set with a red brush for nose contouring. I wholeheartedly recommend the free brushes from Rarekind! It's best to buy this product when it's part of a special set. I even received a mirror, and the red color is truly beautiful! However, compared to other contour products, the case is strangely fragile. You absolutely can't drop it!

As someone with a summer cool tone complexion, I consider contouring one of the most crucial aspects of makeup. I remember when I didn't know about the brand Rarekind, but beauty YouTubers were raving about it, and it was constantly sold out. When they finally released a mini album contour, that too flew off the shelves! I recall waiting eagerly and finally managing to snag the #2 cool-toned contour when it was released.

The price is a bit steep and there's some excess powder fallout. However, these are common issues with most shading products, so I won't dwell on it further.

I've been consistently using this shading product since July 2021 up until now (January 2022). As you can see, I'm almost finished with it, which prompted me to write this review. 

Being the warm-hearted person I am, even my complexion has a warm tone. However, when I used warm-toned shading before, my face looked a bit muddy and the shading seemed to sit on top of my skin. This product solved that problem. Don't be fooled by the name 'Cool Brown' - it's not exclusively for cool-toned skin. This product works well for both warm and cool skin tones. The yellow undertones have been completely removed, creating a more natural shadow effect.

The amount of product is quite generous, allowing for long-term use.

Well, there's minimal excess powder, the color payoff is good, and the price isn't on the expensive side, so I can't really find any downsides.

A natural shadow color that removes redness and has a subtle grayish tone. Mix the three shades to contour your face and jawline, use the lightest shade for a soft shadow on the eye socket and bridge of the nose, then sculpt more details with the medium shade for a complete contouring look. The packaging design is pretty, resembling a CD case. It also feels sturdy, giving the impression it would survive a drop unscathed.

It looks absolutely stunning when mixed with eyeshadow.

Sometimes the color payoff can be too intense, so you need to be careful with the amount you apply.

As a cool-toned person, the color matched perfectly and looked beautiful even as an eyeshadow. It's great for versatile use as a medium shade.

The shades don't gradually darken in steps, but rather feel like they're arranged in levels 1, 2, and 5. I use the darkest shade (level 5) for my brows and mix it in when I need a stronger contour, so it's versatile depending on how you think about it.

It seems to be available online-only at Olive Young. You can't find it in-store, so you have to buy it blind without being able to test it first.

There was a time when many brands like Peripera and Too Cool for School were launching new cool-toned contour products, causing quite a stir. I decided to purchase this one because it had been offering cool-toned contours even before the trend, and it often appeared in makeup artists' YouTube channels.

First off, I was satisfied with its complete lack of red undertones. Even products claiming to be cool-toned often had a reddish tint right from the pan... This product, however, has no red at all - it's so khaki-toned that it almost has a slight yellow (or ivory?) tint to it.

The pigmentation is also excellent. The powder is finely milled, which does cause some excess, but the color payoff is so good that the amount of powder kick-up seems reasonable.

The color arrangement isn't in vertical stripes ( | | | ), but rather divided around the center of the circle, making it easy to blend and use.

I'm so in love with the color that I think I'll be sticking with Rarekind for my contour needs for a while. Even Etude's shadow contour had a bit of a reddish tint in the pan. Unless another brand releases a cool-toned contour as muted as Rarekind's, I don't think I'll be buying from anywhere else.

I could hardly find any cons, but if I had to pick one, maybe the staying power? But even that isn't bad, just average.

This is my holy grail contouring product! It has zero redness and has an ash-brown tone that would suit both warm and cool undertones. The best part is it comes with three different shades, so you can adjust the color to your liking for any area - nose, chin, you name it! I even use it as an eyeshadow base, that's how versatile it is. I think I've found my forever contouring product, so I really hope they never discontinue it!

I didn't really notice any significant drawbacks. If I had to pick something, it might be that the case opens sideways, which takes some getting used to...?

This is a cool-toned gray-brown shading powder that effectively eliminates redness. While there's a hint of yellow, the color is natural enough to be wearable. It's well-formulated, avoiding the artificial look that can easily happen with nose contouring if the shade is slightly off.

The product comes in three different levels of intensity, allowing you to customize the depth to your liking. Having a darker shade included is convenient, as you can contour from your nose to the outer edges of your face all at once.
