  Pros

  The color brightens your complexion beautifully without being excessively white, ashy, or yellow-tinted. I also think it provides great coverage for me.

  Cons

  After some time, you can see it lifting around the nose area. It doesn't wear off gracefully, so you'll probably need to touch up a few times. When I applied it over a thorough skincare routine, it gave a slightly glowy finish.

  Tip

  As someone with extremely combination dehydrated skin, when I hastily applied an emulsion in winter before this, it emphasized texture terribly. Note to self: establish a solid skincare base.

  Pros

  Here's my review after using this for over 6 months on my sensitive combination dehydrated skin: a. As expected from Clio, the coverage is really impressive. I barely needed to use concealer. A small amount was enough to cover my whole face, and I only needed to add a tiny bit more on any visible blemishes. b. The color was just right - not too yellow-based or ashy. It worked well with my brown contour for redness-free shading, without any color discrepancies.

  Cons

  a. Despite being called 'Velvet Wear', it doesn't have that powdery finish I was hoping for. It transfers a bit and the finish is somewhat sticky, causing my hair to stick to my face. b. The shades run a bit light, so I bought #4 Ginger instead of #3 Linen. Definitely test the shades before purchasing! c. Unfortunately, using this for several days in a row caused small bumps to appear on my skin. I had to use it every 2-3 days to avoid this issue. d. Because of its high coverage, be careful not to apply too much or it can look cakey. I found that applying a thin layer on areas like the nose and forehead looked more natural.

  Tip

  a. Setting it with powder helps reduce fading and makes the makeup last longer. b. When concealer is needed, I found it's best to apply concealer first, then the cushion. This creates a more natural look and prevents the makeup from caking up.

  Pros

  This product is recommended for oily skin types. While it wasn't a successful purchase for me personally, I can highlight some positives. There was no darkening effect, and the shade provided a suitable brightness for my 23 skin tone.

  Cons

  I have dry, 23 shade, warm-toned skin. I bought this hoping for a matte and light makeup look for summer, but wow, it's incredibly drying. No matter how thorough my skincare routine, by 1 PM my 9 AM makeup looks parched and flaky. The sides of my nose and T-zone feel especially irritated, making a face mist absolutely necessary. Ultimately, this ended up being a wasted purchase for me.

  Tip

  Absolutely not for dry skin. This might work well for those with oily or combination skin if applied only to areas with excess oil.
