- Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 19, 2022
- Recommended for those who don't suit heavy eyeshadow or prefer light makeup. Even applying just 1-2 shades creates a pretty look, making combinations easy. It doesn't get too intense with layering, so it's user-friendly for beginners. - The eyeshadow texture is smooth, and even the shimmer shades aren't chalky. It applies evenly without clumping. - There's a plastic protective film inside the palette that helps prevent breakage and gently presses the shadows when you close the lid. I recommend keeping it. - The SpongeBob collaboration design is cute, though the collab quality is a bit lacking as it's just an extra sticker compared to the original. #1 Sunshine-filled 3 PM A peach-based shadow with gold shimmer. While not highly pigmented, it's a pretty shade I always use with this palette. Looks lovely on the aegyo-sal too. #2 Soft Milk Foam An ivory shimmer shadow. Great for brightening the inner corners or the center of the eyelids. #3 Blow on the Hot Tea A medium-toned orange-brown. It best expresses the milk tea vibe and seems to be the most representative color in this palette. Good for applying to the crease line. #4 Ice Plop in Milk Tea A medium brown base with gold and silver shimmer. I used this one the least as it was tricky to combine, but it worked best when used alone. #5 This is Real Royal Milk Tea A yellowish apricot matte shadow. Most suitable as a base color. Be careful not to apply too much as it can settle into wrinkles and look cakey. #6 Wooden Table in the Café The darkest shade in the palette with flecks of gold and pink shimmer, but appears almost matte when applied. Good for adding depth to the outer V or corner of the eyes. Too light for use as an eyeliner. - The shadows have similar brightness and tones, so they don't layer well, limiting makeup options. Even the darkest shade (#6) is surprisingly light when applied, making its role ambiguous. This palette might disappoint those who enjoy dimensional eye makeup. - There's quite a bit of powder and shimmer fallout. It's recommended to tap off the palette and close the lid after use. - The longevity is somewhat lacking. - The palette doesn't have a built-in mirror. - There are no chunky glitters, only shimmer shades, and the pearl effect is similar across all shades, which is a bit disappointing.
