I've been using this product consistently because of its great formulation and price. Unlike other vitamin C products, it's not too concentrated and has a lighter texture, making it perfect for use as a base in my morning skincare routine. I reordered from Hwahae when I ran out, but the product arrived leaking. I requested a return, but heard nothing back. Needing it urgently, I ordered from another store, only to receive another leaking product. It seems they're selling off defective stock at a discount. I won't be buying from this brand again - they're clearly taking advantage of consumers. The first photo is from the Naver store, and the second is from Hwahae. - li********Normal SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 28, 2021
Purchased with my own money: • The formula flows like water, making it easy to apply • Leaves an oily-like finish that feels moisturizing • Contains skin-friendly ingredients I haven't noticed any brightening or whitening effects yet. I plan to update in a month. • As it's a vitamin product, it has a metallic scent • While not overly expensive, the amount of product received is exactly as shown in the picture, which isn't much considering the price. At first, I wondered why it wasn't filled to the top, but I assume there's a reason since it's a vitamin product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2021
Is it just my imagination? I felt like my complexion became slightly brighter. The scent isn't... particularly pleasant. But it's still usable. - yo**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 26, 2021
I love that I can get this Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid ampoule at a pretty reasonable price, and it comes in a generous amount too. With a pH range of 3.0-5.0, it's great for the skin. The quantity is good, and the bottle is quite opaque, making it perfect as my morning ampoule. I wish the bottle was just a bit more opaque. The price seems fair though. Use it in the morning, let it absorb for 1-2 minutes, then follow up with a good moisturizer and sunscreen. Remember, consistent habits are key for healthy skin, so use it daily! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2021
This product has ingredients that I absolutely love. Vitamin products need to be applied consistently, but often they have questionable ingredients or if they're good, they're expensive. This one, however, is reasonably priced and has great ingredients. Those with sensitive skin or first-time users might experience a slight tingling sensation due to the pH level, and there's a possibility of blemishes appearing. This is normal, so it's important to start with small amounts and allow for an adjustment period. The main drawback is that, being a vitamin product, it oxidizes quickly. Storing it in the refrigerator can be a bit of a hassle. But this is common for all vitamin products, so it's not a major issue. For those with super sensitive skin, I recommend applying a solid base layer before using this product. Once you're accustomed to it, you can apply it right after your toner. After application, wait about a minute (I personally wait about 5 minutes) for it to absorb before moving on to the next step in your skincare routine. - ss*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2021
As someone with super sensitive skin, I was always wary of vitamin C products, but this one is truly exceptional! It's hydrating, non-irritating, and has great ingredients. These days, I feel uneasy without this little friend. Highly recommended! For context, I'm incredibly picky about ingredients. I discovered this product while searching for a formula with vitamin C, ferulic acid, and vitamin E in a concentration between 15-20%. There's nothing negative to say... honestly, I can't think of a single drawback! Instead of applying a large amount at once, try layering small amounts two or three times for a more supple finish. - kr********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2020
I love that it contains vitamin C in a highly absorbable concentration. They've lowered the pH to boost vitamin C absorption, which can cause a slight tingling sensation, but you can really feel it working! My complexion has noticeably brightened as a result. The lowered pH to increase vitamin C absorption might be too intense for those with super sensitive skin, so be cautious. Also, when I received it, it seemed slightly oxidized with a faint yellow tint. I wish it could be a bit fresher! For best results, apply it on completely dry skin after cleansing. This enhances absorption. Using it in the morning before heading out can help protect your skin from sun damage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 19, 2020
I had almost the exact same pros and cons with this product as I did with a SkinCeuticals one that costs nearly $200! It really evens out the complexion in a stable way. There's no tingling sensation at all. But interestingly, not only are the advantages similar, the drawbacks are too. The scent is quite... earthy. If you don't control the amount well, your face might look a bit yellow even the next day. However, I'm glad a domestic brand has come out with this formulation. It's comforting to know it won't oxidize during international shipping. The texture feels somewhere between hydrating and sticky? But that might be because it's summer. I think it'll be fine if you're careful with how much you apply. The secret to this product is just using it consistently... I absolutely love it! - af*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 14, 2020
▪️Ideal for newcomers or those with super sensitive skin ▪️Absorbs well into the skin ▪️Lightweight, fluid consistency What I adore most about this product is its gentleness. I've experimented with various brightening moisturizers containing Vitamin C derivatives, but the discomfort was always a major turnoff. While I don't struggle with issues like uneven pigmentation, I'm drawn to products that promise to even out my complexion or add a bit of glow. Living up to its claims, this product sinks into the skin rapidly - sometimes almost too quickly. Due to its watery nature, it tends to run down my face faster than expected, which was tricky at first. I've found that applying small amounts gradually and massaging it in works better than applying it all at once. Another aspect I appreciate is how it doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky. There's a slight rich feeling initially, but once it's fully absorbed, that sensation disappears completely. The serum does come with a rather intense aroma that I assume is natural but quite potent. Some might find it off-putting; I don't love it, but it doesn't bother me excessively. I've been using this for about three weeks in conjunction with the Vitamin 75 Maximizing Cream, and I've noticed a slight brightening effect. The results aren't as dramatic as some reviews I've read suggest, but my complexion does appear a bit more even and less lackluster. For best results, store this in the refrigerator!
