I mainly use it at night due to its rich texture. I love that it comes in a generous amount. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't effectively address deep dryness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 9, 2023
Perfect for daily use and an absolute must-have on days when you're going for a light, natural look! When applying makeup over this product, there's a slight tendency for pilling and it can leave the skin feeling a bit dry. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinOct 18, 2020
I personally love cosmetics classified as day creams and night creams. I use products with sebum control, skin texture improvement, and 1% retinol for exfoliation. The next day, the most crucial base is sunscreen, which I found incredibly beneficial this summer. Considering most people apply base makeup, I think it's not bad (it's labeled as SPF16, but the actual product says SPF19). The application is fantastic - it spreads easily with a small amount, feeling soft and silky from the first touch. There's absolutely no stickiness, just a silky smooth application. Among the moisturizing ingredients, it contains the commonly used butylene glycol and the ever-present glycerin. It also has vitamin E, an antioxidant that prevents oxidation, and 1,2-hexanediol, which both moisturizes and acts as a preservative. My skin is extremely combination dehydrated - I experience both deep dryness and surface dryness year-round, while also having excessive sebum production. Using oily products often results in a few blemishes. While the ingredient list might suggest a lack of hydration, and I do feel some deep dryness, I prefer layering a few products rather than using many different ones. It's part of my usual skincare routine, and I'm a bit of a cream hoarder. I'm in my 11th year of marriage, and the financial constraints that came with it completely changed my once-envied skin. My previously resilient skin suddenly became oily, and products that used to work well started causing blemishes. After years of narrowing down which products didn't suit me, I realized it wasn't the products themselves but specific ingredients. Avoiding these ingredients for years led to my current combination dehydrated skin condition. However, my skin seems to have become more resilient now, and I can tolerate ingredients I used to avoid. These ingredients included stearic acid, palmitic acid, and myristic acid - pore-clogging components often found in sunscreens along with shea butter. While shea butter and coconut oil are powerful moisturizers with high oil content, avoiding them too severely limits the range of usable products. Shea butter, though not a sun protection ingredient itself, acts somewhat like a sun barrier and is a staple in anti-wrinkle products like eye creams due to its synergistic effects. The All Day Cream contains two pore-clogging ingredients and shea butter, but it didn't cause any blemishes for me. The packaging is a vacuum pump container, which I appreciate as it can be repurposed for home use after finishing the product. While I'm proud of Korea's top-ranking quarantine measures, it's ironic that we're also the world's top plastic waste producer. I'm trying to reduce plastic use for the sake of future generations. The only downside is that it can pill if applied thickly or over other creams like eye cream. The slight oiliness that gives a beautiful skin glow made it great for summer use. However, as the temperature fluctuates more, it unfortunately doesn't address either deep or surface dryness. This year has seen the release of many great organic sunscreens with improved formulations! From autumn, when temperature differences are more significant, using a moisturizing organic sunscreen might be more cost-effective. ABLE C&C often has sales, and among their A'pieu brand sunscreens, the newly released 'Air-Fit Waterful Organic Sunscreen' might be more beneficial for seasons other than summer. It's much more hydrating, which is crucial for me as dryness is my biggest concern. Oh! There are still some ingredients I avoid: ※ BHT: I'm not sure if it's just a feeling, but products containing this seemed to slow down my eyebrow growth after grooming. After avoiding it, my eyebrows seem to grow better. ※ Triethanolamine: I started avoiding this after watching Difa's broadcast, but I understand that mass-producing cosmetic companies might need to use it as an emulsifier or neutralizer in some cases. ※ PEG: I used to avoid this completely after watching Difa's broadcast, but now I use products with one or two PEG ingredients. After making my own cosmetics, I realized that emulsification is necessary to prevent separation of water-soluble and oil-soluble components, and the emulsifier often ends up with PEG in its name. Before apps like 'Hwahae', we used products without knowing much. But times have changed, environmental pollution like fine dust has worsened, and Western diets have led to more sensitive skin. I think the best approach is to consider expert advice like Difa's, use resources like 'Hwahae', and find the cosmetics that work best for your skin. March 15, 2021 I've been using this diligently as a day cream lately, and there's no pilling at all. I'm not sure why, but I suspect it might be because the vitamin C ampoule I've been using recently has dissolved any loose dead skin cells, improving absorption. It's great for quickly applying cream and sunscreen when I'm busy or in a hurry. It's especially convenient these days when half my face is covered with a mask. It pills like powder. It doesn't address either deep or surface dryness. A day cream suitable for summer use. Recommended for those with normal skin and a beautiful complexion.
