Texture and Formula The texture is smooth and it applies beautifully, gliding onto the lips without any clumping or patchiness. 2. Color I've used many Hera lipsticks before, and after testing this one in-store, I fell in love with its orange shade with a subtle pearl finish. It makes my face look absolutely stunning under the lights! It's a soft, muted orange - not a bright, loud one. 3. Pigmentation Compared to the pink lipstick I used before (Hera Rouge Holic Cream), the Rouge Holic Shine is much smoother and offers better color payoff. 4. Packaging The case is beautiful, and I actually prefer Hera's click-closure over magnetic cases. Why? Because magnetic lipsticks are often stiff and difficult to twist up with one hand. Hera lipsticks, on the other hand, have a smooth twist mechanism that's easy to use one-handed. This makes it convenient to apply when you're out and about with your hands full - just pull it out of your bag and swipe it on effortlessly!
ConsThere aren't any real quality issues to speak of. Since it's new, the tip is quite pointed, which can lead to uneven application if it slips. But I think that's more due to my lack of skill or not being fully accustomed to this lipstick yet.
TipI find it works best to start applying from the lower lip.
